Release Date: August 17, 1971

The success of Dario Argento's 'The Bird with the Crystal Plumage' ushered in a host of imitators, seeking to capitalise on this new, modern take on the giallo thriller. Many were highly derivative, but a number nonetheless rose above the crowd thanks to skilful execution and a willingness to experiment stylistically. Once such example is 'The Fifth Cord' – which, in the hands of director Luigi Bazzoni ('The Possessed', 'Footprints on the Moon'), turns a conventional premise into a visually stunning exploration of alienation and isolation. When a man barely survives a brutal assault en route home from a New Year's party, washed-up, whisky-swilling journalist Andrea Bild ('Franco Nero', 'Django') is assigned to report on the case. Before long, the maniac strikes again, this time with fatal results. As the body count rises, Andrea falls under suspicion himself, making it even more imperative that he crack the case. His only clue lies in a series of black gloves found at the location of every attack, each with a finger cut off. Adapted from a novel by David McDonald Devine, 'The Fifth Cord' boasts a complex, Agatha Christie-esque plot, outstanding cinematography courtesy of future Oscar-winner Vittorio Storaro ('Apocalypse Now') and supporting appearances by a raft of genre stalwarts, including Silvia Monti ('A Lizard in a Woman's Skin'), Edmund Purdom ('Nightmare City') and Rossella Falk ('Sleepless'). Debuting here in high definition, arguably the most visually stunning giallo ever made now shines like never before.

Bruce Flansburgh is a bored, 40-something New York paralegal who hasn’t let go of his dream of rock stardom. While slogging through an increasingly unbearable day to day existence, it dawns on him that the reunions of The Pixies, Soundgarden and other alternative/indie rock bands from the 90’s could inspire his former group, THE INCOHERENTS, to reform. Upon finding his bandmates also mired in middle aged stagnation, he rekindles a tenuous bond with the band’s guitarist and co-songwriter Jimmy, still resentful after languishing for years in unsuccessful groups after The Incoherents imploded. Bruce must also appease the desires of his wife Liz, herself desperate to break out of the life of a homemaker and reignite their stale marriage. While Bruce struggles mightily to maintain normalcy in his troubled work and home life, the band brushes the dust off on a quest to find the old magic while battling for relevance amongst a new wave of younger acts in a greatly changed musical landscape.

On the heels of their arranged marriage, Ashoke (Irrfan Kahn) and Ashima (Tabu) jet off from sweltering Calcutta to a wintry New York where they begin their new life together. Virtual strangers to one another and with Ashima now living in a new and very strange land, their relationship quickly takes a turn when Ashima gives birth to a son. But life isn't as easy for Gogol as his parents might wish. As a first-generation American teenager, Gogol must learn to tread a razor-thin line between his Bengali roots and his American birthright in the search for his own identity. As Gogol attempts to forge his destiny – rejecting his given name, dating a rich American girl, heading to study architecture at Yale – his parents cling to their Bengali traditions. When two women drove their six adopted children off a cliff in Northern California, their friends and families were left with not only the loss of what they thought was an almost perfect family filled with love and light, they were left without the ability to make sense out of the tragedy, when attacks on social media began to pour in from all angles almost immediately. The tragedy galvanized their entire community, at first in their defense, because the family seemed so committed to truth and social justice, but as the facts on the women regarding the adoptions and the condition of the children began to come out, it became harder to defend their friends. A thorough investigation and public inquest revealed unfathomable details that were hidden behind the closed doors of the Hart's family home. This is a story of truth and perceptions; involving adoption and interstate oversight and leaves us all with questions about addressing mental health while also wondering how to hang on to humanity and compassion through today's rapid paced social and mainstream media onslaught.

His previous works, Sirius and Unacknowledged, broke crowdfunding records and ignited a grassroots movement. The film features groundbreaking video and photographic evidence and supporting interviews from prominent figures such as Adam Curry of Princeton’s PEAR Lab; legendary civil rights attorney Daniel Sheehan; and Dr. Russell Targ, who headed the CIA’s top secret remote viewing program. LINDA RONSTADT: The Sound of My Voice is a musical biography of one of the most successful and versatile female singers of the 20th century – and one of the most successful recording artists of all time. At the height of unprecedented success, Ronstadt, a restless and adventurous artist, turned away from pop music to explore an astonishing variety of musical styles, from American standards to country to classical operetta before circling back to her family roots with traditional Mexican canciones. Withstanding constant pressure from a risk-averse industry, Linda insisted on following her musical instincts. Today Ronstadt has Parkinson’s disease and her magnificent singing voice has been silenced. But rather than letting that voice be lost to history, Linda Ronstadt: The Sound of My Voice tells Linda’s story through her own words and music, and by such professional colleagues as Dolly Parton, Emmylou Harris, Bonnie Raitt, Jackson Browne, and Aaron Neville, among many others.

Filmed over several years, Arūnas Matelis and his crew joined the medic teams to reveal the unseen footage of the riders at the back of the race – the so-called "water carriers," "domestiques," "Gregarios" – who forego their careers and personal victories for the sake of victory for their leader. In this astonishingly haunting film based on the acclaimed short story "Homecoming" by Gábor T. Szántó, deep undercurrents run beneath the simple surface in a quaint village that's ultimately forced to face up to its "ill-gotten gains" from the Second World War. On a sweltering August day in 1945, villagers prepare for the wedding of the town clerk's son. Meanwhile, two Orthodox Jews arrive at the village train station with mysterious boxes labeled "fragrances". The town clerk fears the men may be heirs of the village's deported Jews and expects them to demand their illegally acquired property back, originally lost during the Second World War. Other villagers are afraid more survivors will come, posing a threat to the property and possessions they have claimed as their own.

“CAROLE KING: NATURAL WOMAN” tells, in Carole’s own words, of her family and her upbringing in Brooklyn, and the subsequent success as part of husband and wife songwriting team Goffin & King for Aldon Music in New York City. It was during this era in the early sixties that they created a string of pop hits such as 'Take Good Care of My Baby' for Bobby Vee, ‘The Locomotion’ for Little Eva, and 'Will You Love Me Tomorrow' for the Shirelles, which became the first number 1 hit by a black American girl group. Not to mention the era-defining 'Up On The Roof' for the Drifters, and the magnificent ‘Natural Woman’ for Aretha Franklin. By 1970 Carole was divorced from husband and songwriting partner Gerry Goffin, and relocated to Los Angeles. It was here that she created her classic solo album Tapestry, sung from the heart and packed with iconic tunes some of which include her own honest lyrics. The album includes tracks ‘It’s Too Late’ with lyrics by Toni Stern, ‘I Feel the Earth Move’ and ‘You’ve Got A Friend.’ It held the record for the most weeks at number 1 for nearly 20 years. It has become a staple in everyone’s record collection, and has sold over 25 million copies to date. “CAROLE KING: NATURAL WOMAN” features previously unseen and rare performance material and home movies, with Carole in a new interview and archive interviews telling her life story as an acclaimed singer-songwriter. To date, more than 400 of her compositions have been recorded by over 1,000 artists, resulting in 100 hit singles. More recently, Carole was a recipient of the 2015 Kennedy Center Honors which celebrates the honorees’ lifetime artistic achievements. Whilst in 2014 a Broadway production ‘Beautiful’ (which tells her life story during the Goffin & King era) has received rave reviews winning a Tony Award and two Olivier Awards for the London production. In 2013, Carole was the first woman to be awarded the prestigious Gershwin Prize for Popular Song by the Library of Congress for her songwriting. Nowadays Carole King sees herself as much as an eco-activist as a songwriter. She is to be found constantly lobbying Congress in defense of the wildlife and eco-systems of her beloved Idaho. Featuring new interviews with fellow writers Barry Mann & Cynthia Weil, Carole’s daughter Sherry Goffin Kondor, legendary manager/producer Lou Adler, former manager Peter Asher, lyricists Carol Bayer Sager & Toni Stern, musicians Russ Kunkel and Danny “Kootch” Kortchmar and childhood friend and director, Joel Zwick.

That is until news comes that the office is to close, and beloved clerk Nora (a marvelous Karen Allen) is left to fight for her job and reflect on the choices she has made that kept her in Colewell for so many years. Touching, with a hint of melancholy, Tom Quinn’s eloquent film is an ode to small-town life and the quiet emotions that come with nostalgia and memories of the past. Infusing Nora with integrity and grace, Allen captures the intimate and often private struggle that occurs later in life, when unexpected changes occur. Heartened by a great supporting cast including Hannah Gross and Kevin J. O’Connor, Colewell gorgeously captures rural America, while giving space to the beauty of time passing and reflecting on what determines a life well lived.

Inside Lehman Brothers is the autopsy of a crime by those who tried to prevent it from within. As mortgage brokers for Lehman’s subsidiary BNC, Linda Weekes and her Californian colleagues were at the forefront of the subprime crisis. Matthew Lee, then headquartered in New York, was the first leader to have refused to validate the accounts tainted by fraudulent transactions. At the time nobody listened to these whistleblowers. In 2007 and 2008 other banks lost by the same greed and were saved by the Fed. On Wall Street they say Lehman Brothers was "sacrificed”. It was necessary to make them an example, to promise that this would not happen again. Today banks have recovered their health, and with it, their bad habits. The labels have changed but the mechanisms remain, unlocked by Donald Trump whose cabinet of advisors are the ones who drove the system into bankruptcy back in 2008. Inside Lehman Brothers is the result of an investigative survey conducted by the team for over two years.

More than 40 years before RuPaul's Drag Race, this ground-breaking documentary about the 1967 Miss All-American Camp Beauty Pageant introduced audiences to the world of competitive drag. The film takes us backstage to kiki with the contestants as they rehearse, throw shade, and transform into their drag personas in the lead-up to the big event. Organized by LGBTQ icon and activist Flawless Sabrina, the competition boasted a star-studded panel of judges including Andy Warhol, Larry Rivers, and Terry Southern.. But perhaps most memorable is an epic diatribe calling out the pageant's bias delivered by Crystal LaBeija, who would go on to form the influential House of LaBeija, heavily featured in Paris Is Burning (1990). A vibrant piece of queer history, The Queen can now be seen in full resplendence thanks to a new restoration from the original camera negative.

7 Days To Vegas is an edgy comedy that is based on a true story of the rise and fall of one of Hollywood’s biggest poker games. The names have been changed to protect the guilty. Out of desperation to feed his family, Duke Hamilton, a washed up Hollywood actor in the 90s, starts up a small poker game from his house in the lower-class part of the San Fernando Valley. With the help of his wife KC, the game grows to attract some of the biggest players in the Los Angeles area. These risk-taking guys, who will bet on anything, live life on the edge. It's not just Poker that these spoiled LA moguls bet on, they also bet on prop bets (large money wagered on ridiculous propositions that are a cross between a dare and a good laugh) like offering a guy $ 50,000 to dress like a woman for three months. Duke becomes the talk of the town as his poker game attracts movie stars and the Hollywood elite all begging to get in. But, things turn when one of Hollywood’s biggest directors, Sebastian, becomes a regular in the game. Out of ego and jealousy he’s determined to destroy Duke. Sebastian double crosses him and hijacks his game, leaving Duke broke yet again. With no options left, Duke and his brother Carl plan to get back at the notorious Sebastian with the ultimate prop bet…a Walk to Vegas. Duke has to walk to Vegas in seven days, for all the cash they can’t afford. With Sebastian and the entire crew following closely behind in a giant RV, Duke attempts this futile effort and the Walk to Vegas becomes real, hysterical and legendary.
