“Little Fires Everywhere” feels like the second season of “Big Little Lies” that viewers wanted (or at least deserved), and not just because Reese Witherspoon is essentially playing the same character. A juicy adaptation of Celeste Ng’s bestselling novel, the Hulu limited series dishes out an enticing mystery against a soapy backdrop of class and racial divides.
Today Rick Ross finally dropped his highly anticipated 10th studio LP Port of Miami 2 and to coincide with it’s release debuted a new visual for one of the album’s few solo cuts.
Keeping things simple and focused on himself, Ross’ visual to “Turnpike Ike” finds The Bawse sitting down and rapping into the camera while a thick young woman puts the moves on him and a high-end foreign automobile that needs all the TLC it can get.

Linking with Swizz Beatz for the Just Blazed produced “Big Tyme,” Ricky Rozay goes into a toy box to pull out some hot wheels and get his Fast & Furious on on the highways of Miami with Jordyn Woods riding shotgun. This is how rappers live when money ain’t a thing.

Before the debut of his long-awaited album, ‘The Big Day,’ Chance the Rapper partnered with Spotify for a hometown show to celebrate the release of his latest project.
Nothing about “Big Little Lies” demanded an encore, although the casting of Meryl Streep — and reuniting of the big-name cast — provoked understandable excitement about the return of the Emmy-winning limited series.
‘Big Little Lies’ wasted no time catching the audience up on what the women now dubbed The Monterey Five have been up to since the murderous Season 1 finale.
Two major hits, “Game of Thrones” and “The Big Bang Theory,” are signing off within days of each other. Whether those shared viewing experiences represent a celebration or a wake is once again the subject of debate in TV industry circles.
Tears, hugs and speeches were plentiful on Tuesday night as the cast of “The Big Bang Theory” took their final bow at the last live taping of their long-running sitcom.
Last Friday Gunna finally got around to drop his highly anticipated album Drip or Drown 2 and today comes through with some visuals in support of his solo project.
Getting creative with it, Gunna seems to be hanging out with the ghosts of musicians as the equipment in the studio gets worked by invisible people in his clip to “Big Shot.”
Back in Chicago G Herbo gets retro with it and uses some VHS style visual work for his video to “Hood Cycle.” Man this makes us miss Video Music Box in the 90’s. Shout outs to DJ Ralph McDaniels.

Penny Marshall crammed a lot of creativity into a relatively concentrated period, from her iconic sitcom work to her transition into directing, producing an iconic TV show and a memorable string of movies.
Actress Penny Marshall, who found fame in TV’s “Laverne & Shirley” before going on to direct such beloved films as “Big” and “A League of Their Own,” has died. She was 75.
Tributes are being paid to Penny Marshall, ‘Big’ director and TV’s ‘Laverne,’ dead at 75. Simon Thompson reports.

Speaking about bosses, two OG’s of the Hip-Hop game come together as Noreaga and Fabolous link up for the black-and-white visual to “Big Chain.” We wonder if they’d get T-Pain for a remix and call it “Big Ass Chain.”

Ex-NBA player Glen “Big Baby” Davis was arrested for allegedly selling a gang of weed out of a hotel room. The former NBA champion got popped at a Hampton Inn in Maryland.
Per ABC Baltimore, Big Baby actually got pinched last month and that was the start of the struggle.
According to court records, the hotel owner smelled marijuana coming from Davis’ room on February 7th.
When the owner knocked on room 208, someone inside the room told him to “F*@# off!”
Aberdeen police then responded to the hotel and Davis gave signed consent to search his room
“They recovered 126 grams of marijuana,” said Aberdeen Police Lieutenant William Reiber, “In addition to that there was a brief case that contained 92,164 dollars of U.S. currency along with a ledger that contained language which is consistent with someone involved in the sale and distribution of narcotics.”
The ledger was of names of people of who owed money along with baggies for individual packaging of a quarter pound of marijuana.
The strains were called “Sour D” and “Berry,” all from a Los Angeles wholesaler court records show Davis told police he was in business with.
Davis was eventually charged with seven counts of drug possession and distribution, weeks later.
Big Baby says he is innocent and is due back in court next month. His last NBA action was for the Los Angeles Clippers in 2015.
Since the news is out, Big Baby posted a response. See on the flip (Note: It didn’t really help his cause). But the Popeye’s did look delicious.
During the season premiere of “Celebrity Big Brother” Wednesday night, former White House aide Omarosa Manigault-Newman did not hide her true feelings when it came to her recent stint in Washington.
This year’s Golden Globe film nominations were short on blockbusters and big on indies.
“Big Bang Theory” star Kaley Cuoco had a big reaction her engagement, and it was all caught on video by her new husband-to-be.
It’s been a hot minute since Waka Flocka Flame’s dropped any new material so we were pleasantly surprised that he finally came through with something new.
For his visuals to “Big Dawg” the Brick Squad rapper surrounds himself with a bevy of attractive young ladies that ultimately kept their distance from Tammy Rivera’s hubby throughout the video.
And after making some controversial comments about the Hip-Hop scene in New York a few years back, Trinidad James heads back to the city that never sleeps and shows some love for his clip to “Big Dawg.” We wonder how Mysonne will feel about this.

Much has been deciphered concerning The Notorious B.I.G.’s brief but illustrious career but there was still was an unsolved mystery concerning a particular line from the laid back classic record, “Big Poppa.”
At the tail end of the second verse, Biggie Smalls vividly describes the closing time portion of a typical club night shortly before he slides to the crib to dig into some ribs. When describing his late night meal, he dropped a rather ambiguous nod to Welch’s products.
“Plans to leave, throw the keys to Lil Cease/Pull the truck up front, and roll up the next blunt/So we can steam on the way to the telly, go fill my belly/A T-bone steak, cheese eggs and Welch’s grape”
It didn’t too long for the word to get back to Biggie’s former right-hand man and he clarified once and for all that the Welch’s grape in question was undoubtedly the soda.
Mela Machinko tells us the conversation has been part of an ongoing #GrapeDebate on social media for more than a week with Thembisa S. Mshaka even giving first-hand accounts of Biggie drinking juice. Stay tuned for further developments on their conversation via Google Hangout.

The long-delayed “Big Pimpin” lawsuit is finally set to be underway and defendant Jay Z is taking no chances when it boils down to coming out-of-pocket (more than he’s supposed to).
TMZ is reporting that the megastar rapper born Shawn Carter is asking a judge to disallow the future jury from glancing into his finances and his criminal history in order to have their opinions being swayed as the case develops.
To backtrack for those not in the know, the sampled foundation behind Jay Z and Timbaland’s 1999 smash hit was a 1960s Egyptian song titled “Khosara Khosara,” and the artist’s heir, Abdel Halim Hafez, is claiming the Hip-Hop pair not only infringed on the copyright of the record, but lyrically used it in a demeaning way. The case has been eight years in the making and will finally go to court in October, where Jay Z is expected to testify.
Carter, easily one of the most successful–commercially and financially–Hip-Hop artists to ever grace a mic, values at net worth of $ 550 million according to a very recent Forbes report. Allowing a prosecutor to paint the picture that he got rich stealing from unknown artists would spell a certain doom for the case. On the contrary, the plaintiff is claiming that since Jay Z “stole” the “Big Pimpin” sample, his criminal past is very much on the table here.
We’re guessing an out-of-court settlement is also out?

Throwing a line into the cyber-fishing pond for a date on a Friday night is as scary as it is (too) easy. I signed up on the dating site Plenty of Fish last year, and while I had my doubts, I was still optimistic about finding my soul mate — otherwise, why do it at all? Just because I’m on the slippery side of 45 doesn’t mean it’s all over for me.

By Verna Gates BRISTOL Va (Reuters) – A museum celebrating 10 days in 1927 that helped introduce the mountain music of Appalachia to mainstream America opened in Virginia on Friday. The Birthplace of Country Music Museum tells the story of record producer Ralph Peer, who offered $ 50 to “hillbilly” musicians willing to come to a makeshift studio in Bristol, Tennessee, and play into his modern microphone. The result, which launched the careers of such luminaries as Jimmie Rodgers and the Carter Family, was dubbed by music historian Nolan Porterfield as “the Big Bang of country music” and hailed by Johnny Cash as the genre’s most important moment.
