Man With “Jesus Christ” Tattooed On His Forehead Says Jay Z Possessed His Body During Murder

Hawaii is more famous for its vacation hotspots than its native lunatics but that doesn’t mean the latter category doesn’t exist.

Take Jason Russell Jump for example. The now 39-year-old Hawaiian man was accused of killing his landlord in December 2012 and he’s claiming Jay Z possessed his body during the unholy act.

Reports Hawaii Tribune-Herald

A man accused of slaying his landlord in Nanawale Estates almost three years ago said hip-hop mogul Jay Z possessed his body at the time, according to two psychologists who examined the man to determine his fitness for trial.

Psychologist Dr. Duke Wagner said the rapper and music producer “has been a constant figure” in the world of 39-year-old Jason Russell Jump, accused of second-degree murder for allegedly bludgeoning James V. Johns, a 54-year-old wheelchair user, to death with a sharp instrument in a toolshed on Johns’ Seaview Road property Dec. 16, 2012.

Wagner testified Friday in Hilo District Court that Jump said authorities should “put Jay Z in prison for the murder of James Johns and put other Illuminati who’ve been attacking (Jump) in prison, too.”

The contested fitness hearing, requested by Jump’s court-appointed attorney, Stanton Oshiro, is because examiners are split 2-1 in favor of finding Jump — who was previously found unfit to stand trial — fit for trial.

Jump, who is confined at Hawaii State Hospital, was present at the hearing. He didn’t testify, but occasionally leaned over to talk to Oshiro during proceedings.

Wagner opined Jump is unfit for trial. He said Jump suffers from persecutory delusional disorder and said he doesn’t believe Jump to be malingering, or faking symptoms of mental illness.

“I think the consistency of psychotic symptoms and especially something that’s delusional in nature, it’s hard to maintain the nature, and, let’s say, the exactness of the content,” Wagner said. “People that are malingering are going to make mistakes as far as accuracy. They’re not going to be consistent over years in remembering exactly what to say, to say it in a similar or the same manner and … do this in a free-floating manner. He was consistent in that sense.”

Psychologist Dr. Alex Lichton, the state’s designated examiner, acknowledged under questioning by Oshiro that he also was aware of claims Jay Z took over Jump’s body.

This makes what, like Jay Z’s 101st problem?

Jesus Christ Descends From Heaven To Endorse Bernie Sanders. But First, Will Kanye Run in 2020?

Burlington, Vermont – In a move of theological and cosmic significance the magnitude of which can’t be expressed in words, the son of God descended from Heaven specifically to wish Democratic candidate Bernie Sanders luck in 2016. The two exchanged words briefly, after Jesus Christ told Sanders they share the same views on wealth inequality and Bernie’s plan “gets it.”

After God’s meeting with Sanders, fivethirtyeight reported a new poll showing Clinton holding firm on her lead nationally.

The news of God’s eagerly awaited visit to Earth was overshadowed, however, by a decision that stunned the political world.

The same day the Messiah endorsed Sanders, media and politicos focused only on Kanye West’s official decision to run.

Yes, he’s running folks, and he’s serious.

The famed rapper told fans and the media via Twitter and skywriting above Malibu that he plans on winning the White House in 2020.

“This is huge,” says an anonymous Democratic strategist. “Kanye’s appeal is genuine and his ability to connect with Americans and bring excitement to progressives is something lacking today.”

Some observers weren’t too enthusiastic and one Republican strategist displayed skepticism. “Yes, he’s a popular entertainer,” said the GOP official. “But Americans are too smart to back a candidate simply because of ratings. This is America, people.”

In a bold move separating himself from Hillary Clinton, West and an unnamed Silicon Valley tech firm introduced a computer firewall program called “Convenience.”

A spokesman for West said the introduction of his computer anti-virus product isn’t a reference to ongoing scandal. “It’s convenient, ok,” snapped the spokesman for Kanye West. “That’s the only reason we named it ‘Convenience,’ not for any other reason.”

TMZ is hosting an official launch party televised globally next month at the Staple Center in Los Angeles. Tickets go on sale tomorrow.

As a side note to the previous story, God’s meeting with Bernie Sanders reversed 70 years of global warming.

In other news, Americans are eating more kale. More on the nutritious superfood shortly.

Politics as Performance: From Obama’s Luther to Huckabee’s Christ

Listen to this companion podcast on SiriusXM POTUS 124.

As the White House Correspondents’ Dinner reliably demonstrates, performance is the new politics. By tapping comedy, drama and other forms of storytelling influencers can access strategies they’d normally never employ.

Consider the recent dinnertime plays that Barack Obama’s ran, all to set the record straight on his presidency, set traps for any GOP successor, and put journalists in their places.  Whether delivered directly or through Luther, Obama’s brilliant comedian-proxy, Keegan-Michael Key, the president did more agenda-setting in one evening than a dozen serious-minded sit-downs.  Here are some examples:

“Six years into my presidency some people still say I’m arrogant, aloof, condescending. Some people are so dumb.”  His play was a counter-intuitive Lantern, the strategy that volunteers a player’s shortcomings and one he’s loath to run in more serious settings.

“Soon, the first presidential contest will take place, and I for one cannot wait to see who the Koch brothers pick. It’s exciting.” His line was delivered as a kidding Ping, but it had all the power of a caustic Call Out on the Kochs’ use of new election laws.

Obama: “We count on the press to shed light on the most important issues of the day.”  Luther: “And we can count on FOX to terrify old white people with some nonsense!”  This was another masked Call Out, made possible by the venue and the expectation for barbs.  But more than the play, its genius was in the proxy who fired shots for Obama.

This is to say that in the Plays for the Presidency 2016, those who seek the oval office will be naturally advantaged if their politics are rooted in performance.  Of this week’s newly-announced candidates, one got it, two didn’t.

When the former Republican Carly Florina sniped in her dour video announcement, “Our founders never envisioned a professional political class,” we were informed of the former tech CEO’s opinion on the Clintons but cooled to Carly personally.

Contrast this to the former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, who declared from his Hope, Ark., perch, “I grew up blue-collar, not blue-blood.” We are informed on the pastor-politician’s opinion of Bill and Hillary, but the tone is self-effacing, and it dovetails with the Huckabee slogan, I like Mike.

Fiorina’s might as well be, I hate Hillary.

Here’s more from Huckabee this week, each quote having the impact of a Call Out on progressives but presenting as a more noble Challenge to conservatives.  Note, too, his shrewd use of the framing play we call a Screen, all to invoke the all-American staples of Western genre movies and a Christian God:

“I wonder if [Obama] could watch a Western from the 50s and be able to figure out who the good guys and the bad guys really are. As president…we will deal with jihadis just as we would deal with deadly snakes.”

“As Americans, we ought to get onto our knees every night and thank God we still live in a country that people are trying to break into rather than one they’re trying to break out of.”

The other declared candidate, retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, was no better than Fiorina.  Like Clinton, Cruz, Paul, Rubio, Sanders, Walker, Webb and others, Carson’s announcement was an oddly wonky monologue, enabled by framing strategies to invoke the likes of Lincoln and MLK and neatly side-step obvious questions of the good doctor’s qualifications.

Campaigning is serious business. So is the strategy that directs it.  But what was once straight-faced talking points on civics and citizenship is quickly morphing into soaring sermons where dramatics, and particularly comedy, are thriving and where the better actors are sure to hold our attention.
