Pusha T Responds To Drake With Filthy “The Story Of Adidon” Diss Track, Twitter Going Nuts

Pusha T 'Daytona' Album Listening Party

Drake definitely got the whole Hip-Hop world talking after dropping the “Duppy” diss track aimed squarely at Pusha T and Kanye West, getting in some shots most didn’t expect. King Push rested a bit to let the holiday weekend pass and returned fire with “The Story Of Adidon” and it got really personal really fast.

Rapping over Jay-Z’s “The Story Of O.J.” and using the name of the Brooklyn mogul’s late father, Pusha wasted no time in getting into it with blistering bars.

“Drug dealin’ aside, ghostwritin’ aside’Let’s have a heart-to-heart about your pride/Even though you’re multi, I see that your soul don’t look alive/The M’s count different when Baby divides the pie, wait/Let’s examine why/Your music for the past few years been angry and full of lies/I’ll start it at the home front, “I’m On One”/Dennis Graham stay off the gram, bitch I’m on one,” Pusha starts.

Pusha went for the jugular and mentioned Drake’s father Dennis Graham and his mother, Sandi Graham, making sure to mention that his father walked out on his life just as he’s allegedly walking out or not taking care of a child he fathered with Sophie Brussaux. Even Drizzy’s producer 40 caught in a foul way.

Oh yeah, it went there.

We’re posting the song below and all of the over-the-top reactions and hot takes below and on the following pages. As Pusha T said, it’s “gonna be a surgical summer” and we doubt Drake is going to let this cook.

Pusha T Dodges Drake Diss, Salutes Kendrick Lamar & J. Cole Up Via Twitter

Pusha T 'Daytona' Album Listening Party

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty

Pusha T‘s DAYTONA is still very much front of mind for many fans, despite the shot from Drake and the “Duppy” diss track. While Push addressed the track by quoting one of the bars, he’s dodging the jabs and instead quoted himself while bigging up Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole.

As heard on DAYTONA‘s “Infrared,” Pusha T opens up the verse saying, “Believe in myself and the Coles and Kendricks/Let the sock puppets play in their roles and gimmicks” as he went for self on the album’s final track. Push quoted this portion of the verse in a tweet from Kendrick Lamar and thanked him for throwing support behind his new project, which has passed most critical high marks thus far.

This proves to be rather interesting as there was some chatter than K-Dot and Drizzy had some unspoken beef and with the Compton lyricist bigging up DAYTONA, could there be more smoke on the horizon? Stay tuned.

Still waiting on that response though, King Push.

Yes, you read that. NBA Hall of Famer and not too shabby rapper Shaquille O’Neal has dropped a diss track aimed at troll and basketball dad LaVar Ball.

Shaq drops bars about his accolades, like winning chips with Kobe, and generally slanders LaVar Ball (averaging 2 points and riding the bench).

Good stuff.

The instrumental Shaq used is Jay-Z’s “Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)” produced by Bink!

50 Cent Reacts To Empire Diss: “F*ck Empire, Tell Em’ We Said” [VIDEO]

Similar to Donnie McClurkin, 50 Cent was an unsolicited name drop on yesterday’s premiere for the second season of FOX’s Empire. While it is unknown whether or not the Power executive producer was tuned in like 16 million other people, it’s a definite that the news he was mentioned got back to him.

At the start of the show, Taraji P. Henson’s character Cookie Lyon glanced at her phone and spat “50 Cent still taking jabs at us. Look at what he put on the ‘Gram. Thirsty-ass,” a direct response to all the social media outbursts the G-Unit boss has fired at his primetime rival.

With the opportunity for a story like this one here too good to pass up, 50 took to his Instagram while in the studio and gave several responses.

“Can’t believe Cookie would say some shit like that about me,” he said, pretending to be astonished. “Thirsty, me? Thirsty? C’mon. You stupid?”

In another he seen he quotes: “Man, me and Cookie go way back,” he says. “You know I hit that.” It’s unclear whether he’s talking about his Power character Kanan in a parallel universe or the actual Curtis Jackson at this point, but whatever.

He also posted a meme of Omari Hardwick and Joseph Sikora as Ghost and Tommy with a caption that read, “F*ck Empire, tell em’ we said” and another video where he pretended to be Empire’s director a.k.a. Lee Daniels and was very explicit in making sure the man-to-man kiss scenes were on point.

It’s all in good fun for the sport of competition. Hit the next two pages for more of the 50 Cent Empire comedy hour.

DMX vs Tupac – The Diss!

Wow! Tupac had a lot of beefs in his day, but did you know that DMX had issue with him too? Crazy enough, YES. Now, it would seem that DMX’s issues were just rooted in the East/West crap that was going on…but there’s more. Now, when you hear this, its going to sound familiar. Why? Because X changed the lyric into a K-Solo diss, who he had a real life/ jail beef with back in the day.

But, check the 4:00 moment in this video. There they are together: Tupac and DMX. What happened? What went wrong? Nobody knows! YET.

Seems like DMX got a bit caught up in the hype of the era.

AR-Ab Drops Fiery Meek Mill Diss Over Drake’s “Back To Back” Instrumental [LISTEN]

Meek Mill called AR-Ab a d*ck rider because he dared to speak his mind. Now the Philly rapper and known street dude has responded with a fiery diss track over Drake’s “Back To Back” instrumental.

This all started when Drizzy rapped, “I waited four days, ni**a, where y’all at?/I drove here in the Wraith playin’ AR-Ab” on his “Back To Back” diss aimed at Meek Mill.

Then Vlad TV asked AR-Ab about the situation and he basically said Meek needed to step his game up.

Clearly anything but praise is taken as hate by Meek Mill, so he proceeded to called AR a “d*ck rider” while performing in Camden, NJ (which is just outside of Philly) on Thursday night (August 6).

When AR-Ab got wind of Meek’s comments, he initially took to Twitter to respond, saying “I just hope ni**as can stand behind they words.”

Rather than rely on his Twitter fingers, AR dropped a diss track, and it’s actually has its moments.

“Why you diss me, need to diss Drake/That ni**a killed you, first 48,” spits Ar.

Listen below. Meek keeps invited the drama to his doorstep, doesn’t he? As for what Meek’s up to, hit the flip.

Did Meek Get Sued By Wrestling Legend The Undertaker For Drake Diss?

Did the WWE legend “The Undertaker” sue Meek Mill for 500k for using his wrestling theme song in his Drake Diss “Wanna Know”? There are reports, but I cannot seem to get a fully factual report. Here is what one site is saying:

WWE Legend, The Undertaker, has reportedly filed a $ 500,000 lawsuit against rapper Meek Mill for illegally sampling his famous entrance music. The song ‘Wanna Know’ is a diss track aimed at Drake who over the last couple of days has been caught up in a controversy with Meek Mill. The track has since been getting negative views since it was released, and not everyone seemed to have liked the diss track, especially legendary wrestler, The Undertaker. ‘I don’t know if he didn’t think I was going hear it, but I did’ said The Undertaker whose real name is Mark Calaway. ‘I wouldn’t have filed a lawsuit if the track was actually good. But since he included my theme in a f**king garbage track, I’m angry. My plain theme song was a better diss itself than Meek Mill’s.’ he said….

Drake Fires Back At Meek Mill With “Charged Up” Diss Song [LISTEN]

Meek Mill gave everyone a reason to tune into Drake’s OVO Radio this week and the Canadian all-star did not disappoint.

After being accused of being a rapper fraud, Drizzy debuted “Charged Up,” a stinging warning shot that should be just the beginning of a new rapper war.

“I did some charity today for the kids/ But I’m used to it cause y’all charity cases/ Six God is watching, I’m just hoping you prepared to face him. “Ni***s snitching on us without no interrogation/ I stay silent ‘cause we at war and I’m very patient/ Six God is watching, I just hope you’re prepared to face him/ I’m charged up, i’m charged up.”

And then he teases Meek about the stalling sales of his Dreams Worth More Than Money album and newfound popularity being on Nicki Minaj’s side.

“I see you n***as having trouble going gold/Turning into some so-and-so’s that no one no knows/But so it goes/Come and live all your dreams in OVO…No woman ever had me star struck/ Or was able to tell me to get my bars up/ I’m charged up.”

Drake also went the slick route to mention DJ Clue “dropping bombs,” seeing that he has a new foe in Funk Flex.

Elizabeth Banks Chooses To Diss Tara Reid For Reasons We Don’t Quite Understand

Things are going pretty well for Elizabeth Banks.

Her career as an actress has taken off to the point that she’s almost a household name, appearing alongside the likes of Jennifer Lawrence in “The Hunger Games” franchise. And now, she’s directing the much-anticipated return of the Barden Bellas in “Pitch Perfect 2.”

But while discussing just how well her life is going with The Hollywood Reporter, who notes that she has 70 roles under her belt, the 41-year-old took a seemingly random shot at fellow actress Tara Reid, and we were all like, huh?

“A lot of us are surviving. Some of us are not. I used to go to auditions with Tara Reid. So, you know, we didn’t all make it. We’re not all still here,” she told the magazine, before quickly adding, “I do love Sharknado.”

If you’re perplexed as to why Banks threw Reid under the bus, Reid is too. The “American Pie” star told TMZ, “I’ve always been a fan of her work and that’s sad to hear she said those things about me.”
