Giuseppe Zanotti Partners With Rita Ora on an Exclusive Footwear Capsule

LONDON — Giuseppe Zanotti is at it again, with plans to release yet another celebrity collaboration, this time with Rita Ora.
The footwear designer, who has worked in the past with musicians including Jennifer Lopez and Zayn Malik, asked Ora for pictures of her favorite shoes and then let his imagination take flight.
“I love working with artists because they’re very efficient,” he said, adding that Ora loves fashion and he loves music. “In both our lines of profession we need to research everything, everywhere and every day. She’s very multitasking, and I admire that.”
As a result of their close collaboration, Zanotti said he was able to work in the ‘old school’ way,” meaning that he made the initial creations by hand.
“I used to buy shoes at vintage markets, cut them up and Scotch tape parts together. It’s nice after 20 years to go back to the past to work in a very artisanal way. I was painting the shoes and changing lines with scissors,” he added during an interview on the shoot with Ora.
The Giuseppe for Rita Ora collection includes slides, stiletto sandals, pointed-toe mules and knee-high, peep-toe boots with a chunky Cuban Link chain on the heel. The chain is the showpiece of the collection and was

Giuseppe Zanotti Headquarters Robbed

MILAN — Giuseppe Zanotti’s headquarters in San Mauro Pascoli, Italy, were robbed on Wednesday night — the sixth time in three years.
This last time, seven thieves burst into the company’s warehouse to steal 100 boxes containing 300 pairs of shoes, which were ready to be shipped to the U.S. Here, the designer was set to present his fall collection, but had to call off the trip after the robbery.
According to the company, the burglars used a pickup truck to crash into the site, broke the computers and alarm systems and blocked all the entryways to the warehouse.
The stolen goods were valued at around 270,000 euros, but the overall loss amounts to 700,000 euros, including material damages to the property.
“Our territory has been safe and unthreatened for years, but now we are facing a wave of unsafety. Our hard work is swept away by professional burglars who remain unpunished,” said Giuseppe Zanotti.
“I wish we could rely on a serious, concrete, real intervention from the institutions to safeguard private citizens and companies,” added the designer, expressing his dismay for the numerous Italian “brave entrepreneurs who still invest on the territory, bringing labor and wealth, fighting to stay strong in a competitive market,

Giuseppe Makes a Movie Official Trailer 1 – Giuseppe Andrews Documentary HD

In Ventura, CA, Giuseppe Andrews makes movies in his trailer park where he grew up. A former child actor in some big movies (Independence Day, Unstrung Heroes, Never Been Kissed), Giuseppe is inspired more by the crazy independent filmmakers of history: Bunuel, Cassavetes and Fassbinder. Obsessed with the edges of society, dirty language spoken as poems and occasional nudity, Giuseppe’s films may resemble the underground worlds of Harmony Korine, John Waters and Tod Browning. With a handwritten script, a video camera, an acting ensemble of neighbors and homeless friends – and almost no money, Giuseppe has now made 30 feature films. In Giuseppe’s new film “Garbanzo Gas”, Vietnam Ron, one of many homeless men in Ventura that Giuseppe has grown up with, plays a vegan cow on vacation from the slaughterhouse. The doc GIUSEPPE MAKES A MOVIE follows the making of “Garbanzo Gas.” From Giuseppe’s headquarters – his own mobile home – we follow as he sets out to make a feature film in just two days. The stranger-than-fiction documentary explores the Giuseppe universe, showing how the self-taught filmmaker captures an unexpected level of humanism and creates a family unit for a group of people who needed one.
