GoldLink moves ever so methodically you could almost confuse it for being missing in action if he didn’t pop up with something to show for it.
Well, rest assured, D.C. and the rest of the world can be proud to say his first studio album, and first project since the critically acclaimed The God Complex. Introducing And After That, We Didn’t Talk on his Instag…wait a minute. GoldLink doesn’t have an Instagram account, does he? After building his name and buzz out the DMV representer decided it was time to join the popular social media site and he unveiled his cryptic album cover in a 12-picture upload move.
And After That We Didn’t Talk features production from Demo Taped, Galimatias, Medasin, Tom Misch and his longtime collaborator Louie Lastic. Check out the album cover and see if you can decode the message.
The album releases on November 13 and is now available for pre-order on iTunes. The first single in “Spectrum” can be heard down below.

The Athletixx crew have been enjoying a healthy buzz around the Los Angeles scene, thanks in part to their producer and DJ Falcons uncanny ability to get things turnt at a moment’s notice.
For the new Terra EP, his debut project for Fool’s Gold Records, the current wave of the club’s EDM movement spliced with a 808s rap love has been fused for unreal experience. The offering’s first single, “Aquafina,” finds GoldLink and Chaz French throwing bows on their respective references and winning big with incredibly catchy chorus.

If you haven’t heard a Goldlink song yet, or have never heard of the rapper before, where have you been. This Virginia artist has been a standout in 2014 and one of the reasons why Virginia is such a breeding ground for influential artists. Yesterday, Goldlink released a 3-song EP featuring demos from his next album. The project is brief, but definitely make us excited for Fuck The Internet, featuring two songs sampling Disclosure and Missy Elliot. Check out the EP below.
