MADISON, WI—Saying that he is constantly offering words of encouragement and various pointers on maintaining a proper stance, sources confirmed Tuesday that no one at Damen’s Sports Complex appears to know a middle-aged man leaning against the batting cages giving people hitting advice. “At first, I thought the kid in the cage was his son, but he left a while ago and this guy is still standing there telling people to choke up on the bat and step into the ball more,” said local 24-year-old Anthony Wilson, adding that the stranger has enthusiastically clapped his hands and shouted “There you go, nice cut!” whenever a batter has made good contact with the ball. “Whoever he is, he definitely doesn’t work here, but he doesn’t seem to be waiting in line to bat either. He kept telling me to rotate my hips more when I swing and …

Lululemon is recalling over 300,000 women’s tops that have elastic drawstrings with hard ends, because they have “whipped some of the wearers in the face, causing injuries,” CNN reports.

So far the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says that seven injuries have been reported. As a result, the Vancouver-based company is recalling the clothing items causing the mishaps, a total of 133,000 tops in the U.S. and 185,000 in Canada.
“Our main priority is ensuring the product works for our guests, and we believe this is the necessary proactive action,” a spokeswoman for Lululemon told CNN.com. “We are committed to making our product right for our guests and regret any inconvenience this may have caused them.”
In the meantime, the CPSC suggests that customers who own the drawstring tops should stop wearing them, remove the draw cord or contact Lululemon to request a new, non-elastic draw cord with written instructions on how to replace the draw cord.
Tops recalled include the Carry and Go hoodie, Cool Down jacket, Course-ette jacket, Cozy Up jacket, Dance Studio jacket, Dance sweatshirt, Don’t Hurry Be Happy pullover, Gratitude wrap, Necessity jacket, Proactive jacket, Refresh snap up, Run Sun Blocker pullover, Run Track N Field jacket, Run With It jacket, Sanctuary jacket, Savasana tunic, Sing Floss Travel jacket, Stow ’N Go jacket, Stride jacket, Summertime tunic, Varsity hoodie, Victory jacket and Wear With All jacket.
Though Lululemon attests there haven’t been any “serious injuries” from the tops, it’s good to see that the company isn’t going to risk them happening.

The NBA Playoffs are always exciting but this year has had fans on the edge of their seats thanks to some game-winning buzzer beaters.
With three defenders near him, Pierce made a fallaway, 21-foot jumper that went in off the backboard at the buzzer to lift the Wizards over the Atlanta Hawks 103-101 on Saturday night, despite playing without John Wall and after letting a 21-point lead evaporate.
As he left the court after giving the Wizards a 2-1 lead in the Eastern Conference semifinal series, Pierce was asked on TV whether he called “Bank!” on the winner.
“I called, `Game!’” Pierce declared.
He had more fun at his news conference.
“Usually,” Pierce said, “I like to save those type of shots for later rounds.”
Told that Dennis Schroder, one of the Hawks who tried in vain to disrupt the game-winner, called it “a lucky shot,” Pierce chuckled. Then, referring to his lengthy career, Pierce retorted: “Well, I guess Schroder is going to say that, because he’s a little young. … He hasn’t been able to see it over the last 17 years.”
Even at 37-years-old, Pierce can talk it like he walks it.

Tori Spelling has admittedly never handled stress well, but after her recent marital struggles, the reality star says she hit rock bottom, landing in the hospital for two weeks.
“I realize after being in the hospital for two weeks being away from my kids that that was my rock bottom, because they weren’t even fazed by me being in the hospital. They’re used to it. And I don’t want them to grow up thinking mom’s sick, so I need to change,” Spelling told Monday’s “Dr. Oz” show, where she appeared with her husband, Dean McDermott.
Spelling, 41, explained, “Anytime I would have emotional stress, for years, my whole life, I would just repress and keep going and keep going and no one knew, really. And it would just start coming out. I would be sick all the time, sinus, migraines, everything. I don’t want to keep going on like that. I’m at that place where I don’t like the way my kids see me. I don’t like them seeing me as sick.”
In order to change, the mother of four said, she is learning to put herself and her health first.
“My problem is I put everyone before me,” she told the show’s host, Dr. Mehmet Oz. “And I think it really does go back to childhood, not feeling worthy enough that I should be allowed to be taking care of or I should have any worth to even eat, drink, you know, to get to me first. It’s all about my kids, my husband, everyone.”
Spelling’s biggest worry lately has been about her husband, whose infidelity, drug and alcohol use and suicide scare have rocked their marriage.
“I have clinical depression and I want people to know that there’s help out there,” McDermott, 48, told Dr. Oz. “You’re not alone and that’s what I’ve learned through this whole process is I’m not alone with the alcoholism and the drugs and the depression. You can get help.”
Meanwhile, both are working on rebuilding their marriage.
“I’ve asked him a lot,” Spelling said. “I’ve asked him to listen to me, to take care of me, take care of the kids, step up in our family, and he really has. He’s really working on himself and us.”
