The music video directors Tory Lanez accused of colorism are baffled, claiming if anything in the behind-the-scenes video suggests there’s a culprit … it’s the people in Tory’s camp. Capone — half of the directing duo, Capone x Guise, that…
It drops on May 31.
Anyone’s who had run-ins with the law know that an interrogation room is not a place they want to be but Tory Lanez doesn’t seem phased by the said situation and even brings out the freak in a would-be interrogator.
In his visual to “Freaky,” the Toronto artist finds himself getting questioned by po-9 only to clown one cop while convincing another to strip down to her underwear. Could she just be trying to honeypot the homie?

With Drake having fallen back for the past few months and seems to be taking a breather from his feud with Pusha Tea, it’s the perfect time for someone to step up and rep the country to the north. Tory Lanez has been doing just that.
Today the artist out of Ontario drops his visual to “The Run Off” makes it rain in the middle of nowhere where he’s only source of light is a car that’s on fire. Strippers must be watching this with a screw face like a MF.
Shy Glizzy meanwhile seems to be a fan of the 2nd amendment as he hits up a shooting range where the bullets stack up for his clip to “30s 50s 100s.”

Even in death XXXTentacion’s presence continues to be felt thanks to his music and hardcore fan base and now Lil Wayne is helping the legacy of the Florida rapper live on.
For his visual to the XXXTentacion assisted “Don’t Cry,” Weezy F. Baby finds himself living the life of a sultan in the middle of a desert accompanied by only two women and a camel. Knowing Wayne it was a luxury camel with 24-inch humps or something.
Back in the states T-Pain links up with Tory Lanez and show off some fast and furious automobiles that would impress Dom Toretto in the clip to “Getcha Roll On.”

Last Friday (Jan. 19) Future dropped off his latest studio LP The WIZRD so of course he’d be dropping some new videos in support of his seventh full-length album.
For his visual to the album cut “Rocket Ship,” Future keeps things simple and humble by standing next to two riders on some dirt bikes that seem ready to get dirty for Mr. Hendrix.
While on the subject of goons, Casanova got more than a few of those as he roams the streets of Nigeria dripping like it’s all good before turning up in a nightclub for his uptempo clip to the Tory Lanez and Davido assisted “2AM.”

Tory Lanez really dodged a bullet last month when he avoided getting into an unnecessary beef with Royce Da 5’9 and now that he doesn’t have to live life looking over his shoulder he can get back to the music side of things.
Linking up with Trippie Redd in the visual to “FeRRis WhEEL,” Tory Lanez finds himself back in school where he and his classmates get rowdy before turning up at a house party where everyone threw their inhibitions to the wind.
Trae Tha Truth meanwhile probably dropped the longest song of the last few years as he linked up with, well, everyone from the east to the west in his 9-minute clip to “I’m On 3.0.”

Tory Lanez isn’t the first and certainly won’t be the last recording artist to have his words misunderstood, especially when it comes to someone as revered as the late Tupac “2Pac” Shakur. During a recent interview, the Canadian crooner and spitter seemingly compared Tekashi 6ix9ine to ‘Pac and he obviously caught flack for it.
While sitting down with Tim Westwood earlier this week, Lanez spoke on Tekashi’s legal predicament and how it went down during the very height of his career similarly to 2Pac.
“The only n*gga who had sh*t like that popping was Tupac. When Tupac was in jail he dropped the biggest album. Not to say it was the biggest album of all fu*king time, but it was a pretty big moment. It’s sad he’s gotta be locked up during it, is all I’m saying,” Lanez said, while mentioning Tekashi’s features such as Nicki Minaj and Kanye West.
Fans have been giving Lanez grief over the comment, but he fired back with a not so friendly missive himself.
“I did not compare 6ix9ine to 2 pac … I just said they both dropped big albums from jail at the level of fame that they had . Get off my dick,” Lanez tweeted on Tuesday (Dec. 4).
Welp, that settles that.
Gucci Mane’s next project Evil Genius is just a few weeks away from hitting the streets so you can expect the ATLien to begin churning out new work in the coming weeks to build a buzz for the December 7th release.
Holding court in what seems to be an abandoned church, Gucci Mane and Kevin Gates get things lit while seemingly ready to commit sin with the thick young women in attendance for the clip to “I’m Not Goin’.”
From the south to the north, Tory Lanez throws a little soiree in his home where A Boogie and a bevy of young women join him for some red light special fun in the clip to “If It Ain’t Right.”

Since getting out of the bing Meek Mill‘s been making the most of his freedom doing everything from bringing awareness to prison reform to hopping on a few rappers tracks and today he stays on his grizzly.
Continuing to make his post-prison guest appearance rounds, Meek hops on Tory Lanez’s “Drlp Drlp Drip” the two take part in a fashion show where they steal the spotlight with all kinds of ice on their physical degrees.
Speaking of which, Don Q and Hoodrich Pablo Juan’s ice game is up to par with some of your favorite rappers as their diamonds dance in the strip club while the talent twerks like it’s a sport in their clip to “Pick Up.”

We’re not sure how the whole naming a song after a living celebrity thing started but it’s still going strong and Tory Lanez is the latest artist to follow the trend.
Getting ready to hop in a private jet for his video to “Kendall Jenner Music,” Lanez sports blocks of ice on his chest while keeping some Hennessey on chill while the plane gets ready for takeoff. Does Kendall Jenner really deserve to get a Hip-Hop song named after her though?
Wiz Khalifa meanwhile continues his onslaught of clip droppin’ and comes through with a visual for “Goin Hard” where the dress code for his house party was bras, bathing suits, and thongs. Any women rocking jeans were probably turned away at the door regardless of how low and tight they were.

In a summer that’s seen quite a few big names drop new albums, Tory Lanez is looking to get some burn of his own when his upcoming Love Me Now? drops later this sweatin’ season.
To amp up his forthcoming album, Tory Lanez dropped a new clip for his Rich The Kid assisted “Talk To Me” where we find Tory in a few different settings with a few different females… and Tekashi69. That was hella random.
Meanwhile G-Eazy cruises the streets and the open waters in his Nef The Pharaoh and P-Lo featured visual to “Power.” That boat was made to hold 20 people but had at least 50 heads turning up. Gangsta.

Remember when going to the carwash was a big deal? Two Hip-Hop culture movies and a classic song were based around going to one wasn’t made for nothing. Well, Tory Lanez seems to still appreciate the wash and uses it for the basis of his latest visual.
“B.I.D.” finds Lanez and his crew taking their automobiles to get hand washed by some scantily clad young women before heading off to referee a game of beach volleyball by some bikini clad young women. Lanez is livin’ the life.
Miguel meanwhile seems to have women problems as a young lady completely destroys his apartment with nothing more than her dance moves in the clip to “Remind Me To Forget.”

J. Cole just made a lot of folks’ weekend by guerilla styling his latest LP, KOD and with it a new clip in support of the project.
“ATM” finds the rapper getting his Busta Rhymes on and styling in various getups while having fun with some of his play dough to demonstrate that cash rules everything around him.
Meanwhile in Toronto Tory Lanez reminds everyone that things get real in Canada and gets into a shootout before finding himself on a soundstage with a particularly hypnotizing background model who stole the show in his clip to “Benevolent.”
Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from A$ AP Twelvyy, Valee, and more.

While Drake has been crowned The King of The North for quite some time now, Tory Lanez could easily be considered the prince of the city and with his new album Memories Don’t Die fresh off the presses, he’s bound to get some more royal recognition.
Today the Toronto representative stopped by The Breakfast Club to talk with the morning trio (sans DJ Envy) and revealed some interesting tidbits. From the inspiration from his album title to why Nicki Minaj took her verse off of “Shooters,” Tory isn’t shy about being honest regardless of how he may come off.
Here are the 12 things we learned from Tory Lanez on The Breakfast Club.
1. Fake Friends
The meaning behind his latest album title Memories Don’t Die is based on the time his friends didn’t hold him down when some cats tried to rush Tory. That’s when he realized he was with fake friends and has since been particular about who he lets into his cipher.
UPDATE: Features include 50 Cent, Wiz Khalifa and Future.
Canadians really do have an affinity for the ice rink.
In the visuals to “Miss You” Tory Lanez, Cashmere Cat and Major Lazer hang out at an ice rink where they chill on a Zamboni and enjoy the company of a fleet of figure skaters that do dances that would break the average man.
Meanwhile further to the south side of things, Kodak Black lets viewers get a glimpse of his rap star life and the perks that come with it in his clip to “Fall Thru.”
Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Moneybagg Yo, Charlie Puth featuring Boyz II Men, and more.

Ed Sheeran has released a cover of the Tory Lanez song, “Say It,” posting the remix to the free streaming site Soundcloud. The remix sees Ed’s crooning baritone working well over the sample from Brownstone‘s “If You Love Me.” Sheeran added acoustic guitar and electronic drum samples to round out the cut.

While it may seem like most of today’s top talent is using this Flashback Friday to lay back and get their reminisce on, some up and coming acts are taking advantage of the available air time to showcase what they can bring to the current soundscape.
Tory Lanez & Shlohmo continue to appease the Swavenation by demonstrating that living life in the fast lane can in fact be captured in slow motion in “Acting Like.” And on the R&B side, Natasha Mosley risks alienating her female fan base—or empowering it—by letting her male audience know that she’s capable of one-upping their current girl in every category that matters to them on “Anything.”
Check out the rest of today’s latest heat, and one from Waka Flocka that we missed earlier this week, below.
Tory Lanez & Shlohmo – “Acting Like”
Waka Flocka ft. DJ Whoo Kid – “Turn Up Godz”
Natasha Mosley – “Anything”
KR – “Play My Sh*t”
