Meek Mill ft. Vory “Middle Of It,” King Von “Wayne’s Story” & More | Daily Visuals 12.8.20

King Von

Source: press handout / King Von

For a minute there Meek Mill was the darling of Hip-Hop. Having been unjustly targeted by a seemingly vindictive judge and sentenced to prison for poppin’ wheelies, the culture was riding with him throughout his hardships and obstacles. Then he came home and used social media only to once again have fans sour on him like it was 2015.

Still, the man can rap and comes through with some new visuals to the Vory featured “Middle Of It” in which Meek takes to the block and just dripping in ridiculous ice. No wonder them kids selling water was mad at him for having to split the $ 20 he gave them.

Back in Chicago fans of King Von still mourn his untimely death but the man was able to make a few visuals before his passing. “Wayne’s Story” is the latest posthumous clip from KV in which he tells the story of an innocent child turned killer. Such is life in the hood.

Check out the rest of today’s drops including work from Beanie Sigel, Black Sinatra, Young Sleep & Baggz MaGee, French Montana featuring NBA YoungBoy, and more.

Future

Source: Henri Alexander Levy / Epic Records

We’re not sure why Future’s been featuring slim light-skinned models in his videos lately but they’re steadily becoming a primary feature in his visual work.

That continues to be the case in his latest clip to the Meek Mill and Doe Boy assisted “100 Shooters” where Future and company keep things hot and gritty with lit up motorcycles (literally on fire) and still models who don’t even bop to the beat. Just stare into the camera. It’s creepy sexiness.

Elsewhere G-Eazy and Tyga ball outta control on the basketball court where the cheerleaders shake their pom-poms and rumps for their team in their clip to “Bang.”

Meek Mill ft. Drake “Going Bad,” Future “Never Stop”& More | Daily Visuals 2.7.19

And they thought it couldn’t happen. After a nasty back-and-forth a few years back Meek Mill and Drake are back on good terms and today they’re showing the world that a minor misunderstanding shouldn’t lead to a lifelong beef.

Meek Mill Pulled Over By Cops In Jamaica For Photo [Video]

Meek Mill continues to be reminded that being a high profile celebrity comes with a share of headaches. He recently was stopped so the badges could a flick with him.

As per Vibe the Maybach Music Group MC was recently living his best life in Kingston, Jamaica. While on route to his destination he and his entourage were pulled over by local police on the highway. Naturally the detainment had him on edge but come to find out they just wanted a flick.

The Philadelphia native took video of the incident from his phone while giving commentary with a terrible Jamaican accent. “You’re trying to take a picture, mon? I’m f**ked up! Y’all pulled us over and y’all said y’all want a picture, mon? Y’all scared us! We’re scared of police! We thought we were getting locked up!”

Thankfully they were allowed to go once the photos were taken. Later that night Meek and company were seen partying with copious amounts of cash, Hennessy and strippers at an undisclosed location.

Let’s hope this behavior will not derail his chances at getting a fair trail as Judge Brinkley remains on his case despite several alleged inappropriate statements made and other irregularities.

While his fans await a brand new full length post-prison LP, Meek Mill continues to take his time with his highly anticipated project and instead revisits the EP Legends Of The Summer for his latest video.

Choosing to give life to the laid back Jeremih and PnB Rock cut “Dangerous,” Meek gets so much deserved TLC from a thick young woman who seems like she’d wait for him should he do another bid. Hopefully he never has to do.

From the rappers of present day to the OG’s of the past, Busta Rhymes pics up the mic to remind everyone that even though he’s been eating well he and his Flipmode crew will still eat any MC who looks like food in the visual to “Flipmode Squad Meets The Conglomerate.” No Lord Have Mercy?!

Meek Mill ft. Young Thug “Fall Thru,” Boosie Badazz “Savages” & More | Daily Visuals 12.14.17

Even though he’s behind bars Meek Mill is making sure his presence is still felt out on these streets.

A few weeks after dropping a video for “Fall Thru” the Philadelphia rapper comes through with a visual for the Young Thug assisted “We Ball” where Meek strolls through a cemetery during a funeral to which Young Thug is apparently the deacon at. Could Thugger be hinting that he’s ready to follow Mase’s footsteps after he hangs up the mic?

Meek Mill “Fall Thru,” Yo Gotti “Juice” & More | Daily Visuals 11.30.17

Meek Mill done had his freedom unnecessarily taken from him a few weeks back but at least he’s got some work in the chamber to appease his fans while he gets through his bid.

This time around the Philadelphia rapper comes through with a visual for “Fall Thru” where he shows what kind of woman it takes to become a special part of his life i.e. cooking, smoking, and apparently an old ass air conditioner. We guess women with central air might be a bit too bougie for his taste.

Speaking of boujee, Yo Gotti lines up a gang of women to walk down a lit up catwalk in spectacular garments in his vibrant visuals to “Juice.”

The Mill on the Floss – George Eliot

George Eliot - The Mill on the Floss artwork

The Mill on the Floss

George Eliot

Genre: Classics

Price: $ 0.99

Publish Date: November 15, 2016

Publisher: Open Road Media

Seller: OpenRoad Integrated Media, LLC

The classic tale of one young woman’s quest for fulfillment in 1820s England, and the price she would pay for true freedom.   Maggie Tulliver’s entire life has been spent in the shadow of Dorlcote Mill on the River Floss with her beloved older brother, Tom. But when their father meets an untimely death, the siblings’ singular bond is strained as Tom is forced to leave his studies and Maggie struggles to find a sense of belonging.   Maggie’s sharp intelligence and spirited nature have made her an oddity in the rural hamlet of St. Ogg’s, where such unique qualities are perceived as unbecoming for a woman. Her need for recognition and love eventually drives her to defy her brother, who casts her out of his house to survive on her own. Forced to grieve the losses of both their father and each other, the siblings will have to find it in their hearts to forgive in order to reconcile before tragedy strikes again.   Inspired by events in the life of the author, The Mill on the Floss is George Eliot’s most heartfelt novel and one of her most compelling and moving works.   This ebook has been professionally proofread to ensure accuracy and readability on all devices.   George Eliot (1819–1880) was the pseudonym of Mary Ann Evans, one of the defining authors of the Victorian era, who penned influential works such as Adam Bede , Middlemarch , The Mill on the Floss , and Silas Marner . Eliot began her career by writing for local newspapers, eventually running the Westminster Review . During her time there, she decided to become a novelist and chose a masculine pen name in order to avoid the rampant sexism of the day. Her first novel, Adam Bede , was an instant success. Eliot’s realist philosophy and deep characterizations were defining features of her work, and her classic novels have earned her praise as one of the English language’s top authors.

Meek Mill Arrested, Charged With Recklessly Driving Motorcycle

Meek Mill just caught another L. The Philly rapper was arrested in NYC for recklessly driving his motorcycle in Harlem.

The real struggle is that it seems he drew the attention of the authorities after posting footage of himself riding a dirt bike on social media.

TMZ reports that someone called 911, and the cops picked up Meek at 10:16 pm on Thursday night (April 17). Witnesses said they saw a group of people popping wheelies and riding dangerously down the streets of Harlem.

The police then went to social media to identify Meek.

Bruh…

Harlem streets are full of people on illegal dirt bikes during the summer. Most of them aren’t famous rappers, though.

Also, the Internet has already thrown chill out the window. See footage of the arrest on the flip.

Drake Discusses Meek Mill Battle & Quentin Miller Ghostwriting Allegations

(AllHipHop News) It has been over a year since Drake has done an interview for a magazine cover story, but the OVO leader let down his guard for a new article in The Fader. The lengthy piece included the most talked about Hip Hop story of the summer – Drizzy’s battle with Meek Mill. The “Back To Back” rhymer also finally addressed the Quentin Miller ghostwriting allegations.

[ALSO READ: Meek Mill Addresses Drake Feud In Snippet From ‘Dreamchasers 4’ (VIDEO)]

On finding out Meek blasted him on Twitter:

I was at a charity kickball game—which we won, by the way—and my brother called me. He was just like, “I don’t know if you’re aware, but, yo, they’re trying to end us out here. They’re just spreading, like, propaganda. Where are you? You need to come here.” So we all circled up at the studio, and sat there as Flex went on the air, and these guys flip-flopped [about how] they were gonna do this, that, and the third.

On Meek’s perceived lack of strategy:

You guys are gonna leave this for me to do? This is how you want to play it? You guys didn’t think this through at all—nobody? You guys have high-ranking members watching over you. Nobody told you that this was a bad idea, to engage in this and not have something? You’re gonna engage in a conversation about writing music, and delivering music, with me? And not have anything to put forth on the table?

On his “Back To Back” response track:

I was like, “I’m gonna probably just finish this.” And I know how I have to finish it. This has to literally become the song that people want to hear every single night, and it’s gonna be tough to exist during this summer when everybody wants to hear [this] song that isn’t necessarily in your favor.

On the Quentin Miller reference tracks and ghostwriting accusations:

I need, sometimes, individuals to spark an idea so that I can take off running. I don’t mind that. And those recordings—they are what they are. And you can use your own judgment on what they mean to you…

There’s not necessarily a context to them. And I don’t know if I’m really here to even clarify it for you…

If I have to be the vessel for this conversation to be brought up—you know, God forbid we start talking about writing and references and who takes what from where—I’m OK with it being me…

It’s just, music at times can be a collaborative process, you know? Who came up with this, who came up with that—for me, it’s like, I know that it takes me to execute every single thing that I’ve done up until this point. And I’m not ashamed.

Drake Talks Meek Mill Beef: “This Is How You Want To Play It?”

Drake sat down for an increasingly rare interview with The Fader for its 100th issue. Of course, he talked his beef with Meek Mill, an he let the chopper spray.

Drizzy brought the situation up without the writer even having to ask, starting with when Funkmaster Flex pump faked everybody.

“I’m just gonna bring it up ‘cause it’s important to me,” Drake told The Fader. “I was at a charity kickball game—which we won, by the way—and my brother called me. He was just like, ‘I don’t know if you’re aware, but, yo, they’re trying to end us out here. They’re just spreading, like, propaganda. Where are you? You need to come here.’ So we all circled up at the studio, and sat there as Flex went on the air, and these guys flip-flopped [about how] they were gonna do this, that, and the third.”

Then, when Drake dropped “Charged Up, ” there no immediate retort.

Says The Fader:

When a reply to “Charged Up” didn’t come, Drake could hardly believe it. “This is a discussion about music, and no one’s putting forth any music?” he says, speaking with a furrowed brow, as if reliving his incredulity. “You guys are gonna leave this for me to do? This is how you want to play it? You guys didn’t think this through at all—nobody? You guys have high-ranking members watching over you. Nobody told you that this was a bad idea, to engage in this and not have something? You’re gonna engage in a conversation about writing music, and delivering music, with me? And not have anything to put forth on the table?”

Taking offense to Meek Mill failing to have worthy retaliation in the chamber, he figured he had to make a song that have vitriol, and could get radio play (see: “Back To Back”).

It was then that he decided to just go ahead and do another song. “I was like, ‘I’m gonna probably just finish this.’ And I know how I have to finish it. This has to literally become the song that people want to hear every single night, and it’s gonna be tough to exist during this summer when everybody wants to hear [this] song that isn’t necessarily in your favor.”

And there you have it.

The 100th issue of The Fader hits newsstands on October 27. Peep the full cover story, including his thoughts on ghostwriting, right here. Video of the cover shoot on the flip.

Future Opens Up About Ciara And His Relationship With Drake And Meek Mill

Whether it’s about his no. 1 album, Dirty Sprite 2, or his bad blood with his ex-fiancee Ciara, Future remains the talk of the town. The Freebandz rep is XXL’s latest cover star and opened up not only about his beef with Ciara but the feud between his two hip-hop comrades, Drake and Meek Mill.

When it comes to Ciara and her boyfriend Russell Wilson, Future claims that he does not have an issue with Wilson being around his son, but he feels Ciara does certain things in the spotlight out of spite.

“I’m telling you right now, I’m giving you two sides. Like, I’m cool with it. I’m cool with him being around him but certain situations, we all in the public eye, you can’t move around with my son a certain kind of way, you know what I’m saying? I feel like a lot of moves are just made out of just being evil, basically. Because, you know, the success of my album and you still want to make certain moves to take the spotlight off me a little bit and shed light on a negative situation. Why would you want to put light on a negative situation? Even if I didn’t care about it, the people have a way of looking at it. Why would you want to give these people an opinion on our kid? Why won’t we just let our child be a child?”

[ALSO READ: Early Sales Predictions For Drake & Future’s ‘What A Time To Be Alive’ Are In]

Fewtch also said that he never got to know Wilson, which is another gripe he has with CiCi.

“I want to be able to judge him for myself. I want to judge the nannies that’s around my child. I don’t want to pay for a nanny that I never met, that I never got a chance to interview. That’s not the life I want for my child. I want to be involved 100 percent in all decisions made. This my flesh and blood. If I don’t want him to do something, there’s supposed to [be a] compromise or we supposed to talk about it. You not supposed to just go behind my back and do it. This is my son, too.”

As for the tension between Drizzy and Meek, the “Honest” rapper said he has love for both of them but didn’t comment on their beef or Meek’s claims that Drake doesn’t write his own rhymes.

“On some real shit, I love Meek. And the Drake situation, I feel like genuinely we’ve been building a great relationship over these years. We got history together. We went on a few tours together so it was like, publicly, some things was said and it was took out of context. And even with the situation coming out, we put it all behind us, went on a sold out tour and we built from that and I feel like it’s genuine, it’s authentic and we built trust between each other. So with trust it’s just bringing us closer because in this industry, as you get bigger, I feel like you lose trust for everyone around you. You feel like the people you come in contact with, you can’t trust them. So I feel like it had to happen over years, that couldn’t happen over a few months.”

Future just dropped a joint project with Drake, What A Time To Be Alive, which is projected to sell over 500,000 copies its first week.

Meek Mill Addresses Reports He Dissed Future At Made In America Festival

(AllHipHop News) Meek Mill was caught up in more reports he took shots at another popular rapper. Comments the Philadelphia rapper made during his set at this year’s Made In America Festival were interpreted as a diss toward Future.

“You’re playing all motherf*cking Future tonight,” Meek could be heard telling his DJ. “If you don’t play some motherf*cking rap sh*t too. Play some hot sh*t too. I think Future’s on Made In America.”

The Dream Chasers leader posted a message on Instagram to clear up rumors his words were meant to be disrespectful toward Future. According to Meek, he does not have a problem with his “Jump Out The Face” collaborator or his music.

Meek wrote:

My DJ caught a Future attack on the set when he was told play a bunch of artist sh*t! Lol He prolly did it because I tell [him to] play all Future in the club! Don’t get it f*cked up we rather see the streets win b4 anything!

Meek Mill Brings Out Nicki Minaj At Made In America Festival [Photos]

Meek Mill rocked the main stage (Rocky Stage) at the Made In America Festival and didn’t even mention Drake. There was no need to as the hometown hero ran through his catalog of hits and brought out Nicki Minaj for good measure.

The “Amen” rapper still raps over his songs instead of the instrumentals, the sold out crowd didn’t seem to mind as they sang along to hits like “House Party” and “Believe It.”

But the crowd cheered the loudest when Nicki Minaj strutted on the stage, eventually performing “All Eyes On You” with her boyfriend.

However, Meek’s closing song, the “Dreams and Nightmares Intro” is what really got the crowd lit.

Check out pics of Meek, and Nicki Minaj, below and on the following pages.

Woman Suing 2Chainz For $5 Mill To Rep Herself

A woman that is suing rapper 2Chainz for calling her a “Thot” is heading to court and repping herself.

Christine Chisholm made the revelation to news station WBTV in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Chisholm explained her life after a viral video had 2Chainz and Cap1 calling her a thot.

“I can’t go out in public…Before the video had even started I was in the back room and we were just eating chicken wings,” she explained. “Actually, until the end, I really didn’t even know if they were recording. And I didn’t know that he was gonna post it on the blogs. I was just in shock.”

She said, based on the evidence, there’s little need for a lawyer in court.

“I feel like if I’m just honest with everything that really happened then there’s no reason why I wouldn’t win,” she said. “If I could see 2 Chainz, I would just be like, ‘Where’s my money?’”

Drake/Meek Mill feud: What’s wrong with celeb beef culture

“Calling all Miley Cyrus and Taylor Swift fans: Shots have been fired, this is not a drill.” That’s pretty much been the reaction of the Internet this week, after Cyrus gave an interview with Marie Claire, in which she called out Swift and the hypocrisy of the music industry’s sex/violence paradigm, as illustrated in her “Bad Blood” video. “I don't get the violence revenge thing,” declared Cyrus. “That's supposed to be a good example? And I'm a bad role model because I'm running around with my titties out? I'm not sure how titties are worse than guns.” YouTube: Taylor Swift – Bad Blood ft. Kendrick Lamar Cyrus has a point: The double-standard between sex and violence in American pop culture has been well-chronicled. But her invocation of Swift to make her point is still frustrating, because it feels like the beginning of just another celebrity feud. In music today, celebrity feud culture has somehow overtaken the industry, tearing down artists and distracting us from their work. This isn’t exactly a surprising turn of events. Best friend-collector that she is, Swift has been involved in a rather high amount of disagreements lately. Things bubbled over in last month’s Nicki Minajincident, wherein Minaj expressed her distaste with the lack of black women nominated at the MTVVMAs. Swift, apparently seeing this as a personal attack on her, responded indignantly. She eventually apologized, and it’s been radio silence between the two ever since. But not before Katy Perry, widely acknowledged as the target of “Bad Blood,” threw some not so subtle shade at Swift on Twitter. Finding it ironic to parade the pit women against other women argument about as one unmeasurably capitalizes on the take down of a woman…— KATY PERRY (@katyperry) July 22, 2015The feud didn’t stop there, amidst rumors that Rihanna was preparing a T-Swift diss track of her own. Even Canadian pop singer Carly Rae Jepsen was briefly thrown into the fray, when fans freaked out over the release of her single “Warm Blood,” and began contrasting it with Swift’s aforementioned anthem. As the Daily Dot’s own Alexandra Samuels notes, labeling the exchange as a “feud” isn’t necessarily fair, because it suggests that women like Minaj and Swift are not capable having a rational discussion about the state of entertainment. “The media's tendency to reduce serious arguments between women to petty quarrels is problematic, because it casts aside women like Minaj as ‘haters,’ rather than as creative minds who are also cultural influencers,” she writes. There is an intelligent debate to be had regarding representation in the music industry, and Minaj and Swift gave us a chance to have it. But in painting it as nothing but a “cat fight,” the message got lost on the Internet. @taylorswift13@NICKIMINAJ I was enjoying the cat fight! 🙀😿— Shanjid Alam Violet (@ShanjidAlam) July 24, 2015However, men aren’t any less susceptible to music’s celebrity feud machine, as evidenced by the recent back and forth between hip-hop artists Drake and Meek Mill. After Meek Mill took to Twitter to call out the Canadian rapper for using a ghostwriter on his contribution to Meek’s recent album, fireworks went off. What commenced was an exchange of diss tracks and tweets. This led to Drake’s seemingly triumphant performance at OVO fest in Toronto, where the crowd reveled as he took to the stage and projected a series of memes making fun of his aggressor. In painting it as nothing but a “cat fight,” the message got lost on the Internet. Feuds, or “beefs,” as the genre would oft describe them, are a tricky subject in hip-hop, because they are a major part of its history. In the past, feuds have elevated all parties involved to reach new creative heights. Look at the feud between Big Daddy Kane and Rakim, two hip-hop pioneers who exchanged subtle disses for years, determined to prove not just to each other that they were the best—but to themselves. But hip-hop’s most famous feud, the east coast/west coast dispute between Tupac Shakur and The Notorious B.I.G., ended up with blood being spilled on both sides: Shakur was shot dead in 1996, and Biggie was gunned down less than a year later. So without a doubt, competition in hip-hop is a mixed bag. In between his dual masterpieces Good Kid, M.A.A.D City and To Pimp A Butterfly, there was hardly a more exciting moment for hip-hop in 2013 than when Kendrick Lamar famously called out all his major rap peers on Big Sean’s “Control,”—including Big Sean himself. And when beef began to brew between Lamar and Drake that same year, it appeared as if everyone was going to emerge a winner. Here were two artists at the peak of their powers, each striving to be at the top of their game.YouTube: Big Sean – Control f. Kendrick Lamar & Jay ElectronicaThe Meek Mill/Drake feud, on the other hand, turned into something completely different. Regardless of whether Meek’s allegations against Drake were true, they were complicated by the fact that he was dating Drake’s labelmate, Nicki Minaj. And given that Drake was the more famous rapper, Mill received much harsher treatment from the media—and from the Internet, in particular. While the memes making fun of him started out as lighthearted and kind of funny, they quickly turned ugly on multiple levels. Pitchfork’s Meaghan Garvey asserts, “There was a distinct moment during the OVO Fest set where things immediately flipped from corny but ultimately harmless to legitimately toxic: an unfunny, badly-edited image of a bride and groom, with Nicki’s head edited onto the man and Meek’s onto the woman.” YouTube: Drake Performs "Back To Back" At OVO Fest 2015 (Meek Mill Diss)The feud was no longer about a competition to determine who was the better rapper—it was about sexism, masculinity, and the media’s unquenchable thirst for blood, the desire to see one person crowned a victor, standing over the carcass of the other’s career. Neither party came off looking great, and Drake especially did damage to his reputation as a sensitive and thoughtful rapper, all in some arbitrary struggle to win the Internet. While the memes making fun of him started out as lighthearted and kind of funny, they quickly turned ugly on multiple levels. The most fundamentally frustrating thing about celebrity feuds between musicians is that they distract us from the actual music. It has become impossible to talk about about popular artists without also discussing their personal lives. While an artist’s personal life can occasionally inform how we think about their music, it shouldn’t define it. Take Kanye West, for example. No matter how many awards and prizes he receive and how matter how much acclaim he accrues, there are some who will always see him as Kim Kardashian’s asshole husband. That’s what the resistance to having him play at the Glastonbury Festival and Toronto's Pan American Games was really about—not being able to see past the celebrity to the talent. The worst of all possible outcomes manifests in the trend of music journalism being covered like “lifestyle reporting,” as was first highlighted in Ted Gioia’s now infamous op-ed piece for the Daily Beast. I’ve just spent a very depressing afternoon looking through the leading music periodicals. And what did I learn? Pretty much what I expected. I found out what the chart-topping musicians are wearing (or, in many instances, not wearing). I got updates on their love life and learned whose marriages are on the rocks. I read updates on the legal proceedings of the rich and famous. I got insights into the food preferences and travel routines of megastars. Gioia can’t help but come off as a kind of cranky old man here. But while he’d be wrong to buy into the idea that pop music is worse today than ever before (a frequent trope in cranky, old man thinking), he’s correct in his observation that now more than ever before, we’re more focused on the artists than we are on their art. The trade-off is that on the Internet, we have more ways to feel connected to our favorite musicians, but we’re also inundated with invitations to stare one-sidedly into their personal lives, criticizing their every move from afar. When we follow artists on Instagram and Twitter, we think we get a sense of who they really are. But we forget that the best way to get a sense of who an artist is comes from listening to their music. Music has not gotten substantially worse in recent years, but music feuds have. And this is not good. It’s not good for women, it’s not good for men, and it’s not good for music in general. But most of all, it’s not good for us, the listeners.Chris Osterndorf is a freelance journalist whose work has appeared on websites such as Mic, Salon, xoJane, the Week, and more. AR-Ab Drops Fiery Meek Mill Diss Over Drake’s “Back To Back” Instrumental [LISTEN]

Meek Mill called AR-Ab a d*ck rider because he dared to speak his mind. Now the Philly rapper and known street dude has responded with a fiery diss track over Drake’s “Back To Back” instrumental.

This all started when Drizzy rapped, “I waited four days, ni**a, where y’all at?/I drove here in the Wraith playin’ AR-Ab” on his “Back To Back” diss aimed at Meek Mill.

Then Vlad TV asked AR-Ab about the situation and he basically said Meek needed to step his game up.

Clearly anything but praise is taken as hate by Meek Mill, so he proceeded to called AR a “d*ck rider” while performing in Camden, NJ (which is just outside of Philly) on Thursday night (August 6).

When AR-Ab got wind of Meek’s comments, he initially took to Twitter to respond, saying “I just hope ni**as can stand behind they words.”

Rather than rely on his Twitter fingers, AR dropped a diss track, and it’s actually has its moments.

“Why you diss me, need to diss Drake/That ni**a killed you, first 48,” spits Ar.

Listen below. Meek keeps invited the drama to his doorstep, doesn’t he? As for what Meek’s up to, hit the flip.

Drake Fires Back At Meek Mill With “Charged Up” Diss Song [LISTEN]

Meek Mill gave everyone a reason to tune into Drake’s OVO Radio this week and the Canadian all-star did not disappoint.

After being accused of being a rapper fraud, Drizzy debuted “Charged Up,” a stinging warning shot that should be just the beginning of a new rapper war.

“I did some charity today for the kids/ But I’m used to it cause y’all charity cases/ Six God is watching, I’m just hoping you prepared to face him. “Ni***s snitching on us without no interrogation/ I stay silent ‘cause we at war and I’m very patient/ Six God is watching, I just hope you’re prepared to face him/ I’m charged up, i’m charged up.”

And then he teases Meek about the stalling sales of his Dreams Worth More Than Money album and newfound popularity being on Nicki Minaj’s side.

“I see you n***as having trouble going gold/Turning into some so-and-so’s that no one no knows/But so it goes/Come and live all your dreams in OVO…No woman ever had me star struck/ Or was able to tell me to get my bars up/ I’m charged up.”

Drake also went the slick route to mention DJ Clue “dropping bombs,” seeing that he has a new foe in Funk Flex.

Nicki Minaj & Meek Mill Jump Joe Budden On Twitter [Photos]

For much of the year, Joe Budden, alongside IFWT’s Marisa Mendez, has operated a very candid podcast titled I’ll Name This Podcast Later. Throughout the hour-long segments, the Slaughterhouse member openly shares his opinions just like any voice of the free world without consequence.

That was, until he happened to address Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill’s current celebrity romance without an ounce of chill.

The money turned the Philly rapper into a monster but Joey couldn’t help but notice that Milly was playing it rather tame while performing with his girlfriend at last week’s BET Awards.

On the 20th episode, Budden made the piercing comment, “Part of my problem with that is Meek’s music is too hard,” he said. “Meek’s music is too hard for me to look at him with this f*cking sappy f*ck-sh*t. Be the hardcore guy that I’m sure she was attracted to at some point. It’s nasty. I hate everything about it.”

And that wasn’t all.

“I’m glad a dark skin guy is behaving this way. Light skinned guys…we’re not moving like that. Light skinned guys….we’re used to getting a bad b*tch,” Budden continued. “He’s all….like this bitch just stepped off of f*cking Mars and is like the only girl. I hate it all. But I do appreciate them for keeping the hope of love alive.”

It didn’t take long for word to get back to both Nicki and Meek they lit up his Twitter mentions with passionate responses. Meek, who is poised to earn his first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200, let the jokes fly and called up on his millions of followers for memes. The Pinkprint–who was tweeting all the way from Finland–made sure to throw epic shade on his “podcast” by simply saying the word. Budden attempted to clarify his position on his commentary but also put it out in the open that the MMG soldier didn’t actually want to take the riff to wax.

Meek Mill Discusses Joys & Pains Of Fatherhood With TIME

Nicki Minaj may have Meek Mill’s attention but the 28-year-old rap star still knows his responsibilities as a father to his toddler son.

In a new profile with TIME magazine, the MMG lieutenant discussed how difficult it is to spend time with him, given his lifestyle and the feeling he gets when he does.

‘Growing up without a father made me realize just how special time is with my son’

As a father, now I get to give my son the life I never had. Being able to give him anything he wants is one of the best feelings in the world—but it’s also scary. When you see how much one person can trust you, look up to you, and depend on you, the last thing you want to do is disappoint them. The fact that no one can teach you how to be a father means you are always learning on the job. I love my son with all my heart, and I would do anything for him. It’s a crazy feeling knowing that I will help him become a great man.

With my career and my crazy schedule, sometimes it’s tough to be able to spend the amount of time with him that I want and that he deserves. After spending time away from him, one of my favorite things to do is get on my four wheeler with my little man in tow. Picture us riding around my neighborhood waving at all my neighbors. My son is fearless on his bike. Those are the moments I think about when I’m on the road.

Meek Mill & Spike Jordan Create A Golden Age Classic With “Monster” Video

If you follow Meek Mill on Instagram, you know very well he’s paid in full. With his new school sensibilities and Spike Jordan’s nostalgic direction, a beautiful master plan video for “Monster” has been born.

After strategically dropping track since his release from jail last December, it appears Philly’s MMG lieutenant is finally revved up and ready to make those Dreams Worth More Than Money an official reality. He recently paid homage to the slain Chinx and measured his weight up next to Drake’s and the “Monster” video proves he’s just having fun with it.

The scenery takes us into late 80s when Hip-Hop was automatically fresh and exciting and all the Big Willies donned Kangol hats, Gazelle frames and enough gold to make King Tut insecure. Milly invites viewers into the roller skate, complete with plenty of product placement from Monster 24KT headphones, Monster Energy and his homeboy Diddy’s Cîroc collection.

Enjoy Meek Mill’s “Monster” video below.
