While this generation of Hip-Hoppers may not care much for the OG’s of the game like De La Soul, it’s good to see some people still appreciate what the 90’s group brings to the table. Even if said people are from across the pond.

Fabolous “We Good,” Uncle Murda ft. Future “Right Now” & More | Daily Visuals 10.28.15

The Last time we saw the F-A-B-O-L-O-U-S he was reliving the role that made Tupac Shakur a household name in the hood with his visuals to “Gone For The Winter.” Now Fab returns with another Hip-Hop cinematic classic with the Rich Homie Quan-assisted “We Good” re-enacting one of the more under the radar 90’s cult classics, Dead Presidents.

If Fab’s aim this year was to resurrect classic 90’s Hip-Hop cinema with his visuals then we’re kind of disappointed he didn’t take advantage of that flat-top he had and recreate New Jack City or House Party. Just sayin’.

Uncle Murda links up with Future and takes a stab at crafting some trap house music while up in the club in the visuals to “Right Now.” Luckily Uncle Murda had the good sense not to tattoo Future’s name on his person after hooking up with the ATLien for this track.

Check the rest of today’s visuals which include work from Obie Trice, The Posterz, and more.

FABOLOUS FT. RICH HOMIE QUAN – “WE GOOD”

UNCLE MURDA FT. FUTURE – “RIGHT NOW”

BINX FT. ARTBYSEVEN – “IN MY PRAYERS”

Chris Brown: “I Talk To God A Lot Now”

Once again, Chris Brown is in his feelings. The R&B crooner with a penchant for drama—which he has pinned on being light skinned—took to Instagram to get some thoughts off his troubled chest.

Hear him out.

“I always thought I knew the concept of love,” he wrote on the ‘Gram. “Fame and Money can get in the way of that. Most of my issues always deal with love and me being in my feelings. Not to mention me being a dog sometimes. I can’t speak for everyone but I can say that my actions contributed a lot to my karma. Being jealous and angry and controlling.”

Hey, the first step is admittance, right?

Peep Breezy’s full disclosure below.

Instagram Photo

I’m Konfuzed, I always thought I knew the concept of love. Fame and Money can get in the way of that. Most of my issues always deal with love and me being in my feelings. Not to mention me being a dog sometimes. I can’t speak for everyone but I can say that my actions contributed a lot to my karma. Being jealous and angry and controlling. There has been times where I looked in the mirror and hated the person I see. I talk to God a lot now. He’s given me so much and I feel like I waste his gifts becuz of my impulsive personality. The world is full of negativity and I feel I play a part in it becuz of the choices I’ve made or mistakes. I tend to accept the negative or the riff raff becuz I know what it’s like to be a young black “nigga” in America. I always see the good in people even when they don’t see it. I love others more than myself at times. Everything u see on the surface does not reflect what’s inside. This is my white flag. I surrender to life and all its blessings. I refuse to be petty and attention seeking. To know me is to love me. Good Bad UGLY! Sincerely, Konfuzed

Indy Star Blasts Gov. Mike Pence Over ‘Religious Freedom’ Law: ‘Fix This Now’

The Indianapolis Star is holding Gov. Mike Pence (R) accountable for the state’s controversial “religious freedom” law.

On Thursday, Pence signed the Religious Freedom Restoration Act, which allows businesses to discriminate against people by citing religious beliefs if they get sued. The LGBT community is often targeted by this type of discrimination.

Tuesday’s bold front page features an editorial blasting Pence for signing the law, and urging him to fix the damage it has already done to the Hoosier State.

We are at a critical moment in Indiana’s history.

And much is at stake.

Our image. Our reputation as a state that embraces people of diverse backgrounds and makes them feel welcome. And our efforts over many years to retool our economy, to attract talented workers and thriving businesses, and to improve the quality of life for millions of Hoosiers.

Major companies, such as Apple, Walmart and Salesforce, have since announced they will boycott doing business in Indiana. Two states, Washington and Connecticut, said they will ban state-funded travel to Indiana.

The newspaper’s editorial board is calling for the passage of a statewide human rights law that would protect the LGBT community and take a clear stand against discrimination. Indianapolis’ Republican mayor Greg Ballard took similar measures on Monday by signing an executive order that forces businesses to abide by the city’s human rights ordinance, which prevents discrimination based on sexual orientation.

So far, the state’s Republican leaders have defended the law and remained steadfast in saying it does not discriminate. In an op-ed in the Wall Street Journal, Pence said the law is “not a license to discriminate” and “simply reflects” federal legislation. Other state GOP leaders said they were “shocked” that their religious freedom law was seen as anti-gay, and that they simply didn’t anticipate the backlash.

But Indy Star has a strong message for these political leaders:

We urge Gov. Pence and lawmakers to stop clinging to arguments about whether RFRA really does what critics fear; to stop clinging to ideology or personal preferences; to focus instead on fixing this.

Governor, Indiana is in a state of crisis. It is worse than you seem to understand.

Andy Fraser, ‘All Right Now’ Songwriter And Free Bassist, Dead At 62

TEMECULA, Calif. (AP) — Andy Fraser, who co-wrote the rousing rock anthem “All Right Now” when he was the teenage bassist for the British rock band Free, has died in California at age 62.

Fraser had been living in the Southern California desert community of Temecula, where he died Monday, the Riverside County coroner said in a statement. The cause of death is not yet known and remains under investigation. At age 15, the London-born Fraser briefly became a member of John Mayall & the Bluesbreakers. The group functioned as a training ground for young British rockers including Eric Clapton and Rolling Stones guitarist Mick Taylor.

Within a year, Fraser became a founding member of Free. The band’s most prominent member was singer and guitarist Paul Rodgers, who would also go on to front Bad Company and The Firm.

The band’s biggest hit by far was 1970’s “All Right Now,” which remains one of the defining hits of classic rock radio. Fraser also produced the track and plays a bass solo on it.

The song is also a staple of football stadiums. The Stanford University and University of Southern California marching bands each play it at virtually every game.

Fraser kept playing music for most of his life, but he would never equal the success he had as a teen with Free, which broke up in 1972.

He and Rodgers took the stage together to play “All Right Now” at Woodstock ’94, the reboot of the classic music festival.
