“Wonder Woman 1984” and “In the Heights” are the latest films to change their release plans amid the coronavirus pandemic.
In an emotional note to fans, Camila Cabello announced that her Romance Tour has been postponed due to coronavirus concerns.
Along with SXSW and Dreamville Fest, another major music festival has been postponed or moved as a result of the spreading Coronavirus. Pharrell Williams’ Something In The Water festival will now take place in 2021.
A statement from Skateboard P reads as follows:
After much consideration, in partnership with the City of Virginia Beach, we’ve sadly decided to postpone SOMETHING IN THE WATER 2020.
We will return April 23-25, 2021 as part of our normal annual schedule. All tickets for 2020 will be honored for next year’s festival. Original purchasers must obtain a refund by submitting a request at SOMETHINGINTHEWATER.COM after March 20, 2020. All refund requests must be submitted through the website and no refunds will be processed by contacting Front Gate Tickets via phone or email.
Please use this time to keep building, creating, and progressing. The SITW team certainly will. There are a number of timely community-centric displays of goodwill that we are working hard to ensure still happen this April – things like the planting of a new school garden, public art, SITW Restaurant Week and more.
It’s kind of a bummer but better safe than sorry. See you next year, SITW crew!
The news comes a week after the organisers of the SXSW Festival in Texas were forced to cancel this year’s event.

Two shows in Miami that were scheduled to go down this weekend got axed, and will go down in November nstead.
Drizzy took to Instagram to essentially tell his fans, My bad.
“I just wanted to say how sorry I am about these two Miami shows,” read Drake’s message on Instagram. “I got so ill so fast and I had never experienced anything like that in my life. Unlike other show cancellations or date adjustments due to production issues this one fell on me and I just want to apologize because I hate letting down anyone who come [sic] to share these moments with us.”
No word on what exactly Drake was suffering from but he seems to be on the mend. Tickets for the postponed Sept. 21 and Sept. 22 shows will be honored on Nov. 13 and Nov. 14, respectively.
One of my students could not take my college seminar final exam because of a funeral.
“No problem,” I told him. “Make it up the following week.” That week came, and again he couldn’t take the test due to another funeral.
“You’ll have to take the test early next week,” I insisted. “I can’t keep postponing it.”
“I’ll take the test next week if no one dies,” he told me.
By now I was suspicious. “How can you have so many people you know pass away in three weeks?” I asked.
“I don’t know any of these people,” he said. “But I’m the only gravedigger in town.”

The Good, Clean Funnies List
Last week, Chief Keef announced that he would perform via hologram in his hometown city, Chicago. The drill music artist was set to perform with the hopes of preventing violence in the streets of Chi-Town, especially since a one-year old died during the same shooting that killed Keef’s close friend, Capo. Unfortunately, the concert was postponed due to a conflict with local paster, Michael Pfleger. Pfleger shown his disdain for the Chief Keef concert a couple of days ago on Facebook, according to the Chicago Tribune:
“Instead of having a concert … why doesn’t he man up and acknowledge it’s time to stop this violence and apologize for his part in it!!!! We don’t need a concert … we need PEACE.”
According to David Alki, the event’s organizer, Father Pfleger was accused getting the Redmoon Theatre in downtown Chicago to back out of their contract. Alki wrote to The Tribune:
“The meddling, attention seeking Father Pfleger, who bullied the owner of the downtown theater to back out of his contract, will not succeed. He is exploiting this tragedy and taking money away from the victims and solid charities who are doing good work in Chicago.”
Although Pfleger is accused of talking the Redmoon Theatre out of the July 17th date, there has not been any connection between both parties.
