One day, a blonde went into an appliance store that was having a sale on TVs. She walked up to the counter and said to the clerk, “I would like to buy
The clerk replied, “Sorry, I don’t sell to blondes.”
So, the blonde dyed her hair brown and returned the next day. Again, she went up to the counter and said, “I would like to buy this TV.”
Again, the clerk answered, “Sorry, I don’t sell to blondes.”
Puzzled, the blonde asked, “How did you know I was a blonde?”
The clerk replied, “Because that is a microwave.”

While political relations between the U.S. and Cuba might be chilly, the Havana-based Clandestina drove into the U.S. market by launching e-commerce.
Despite the barely month-old travel warning for American citizens and allegations of sonic attacks on staffers at the U.S. Embassy in Havana, Clandestina founder Idania del Río is trying to cozy up to the American market. Started in 2015 with Leire Fernández, the company is now the first Cuban fashion brand to sell online. While importing goods from Cuba remains challenging and costly due to U.S. legislation, independent designers in Cuba can provide their design services to American customers. Del Río and her team design all of the six styles that are offered online in the company’s studio. They are then digitally uploaded to American manufacturers that print, produce and ship the finished product to consumers in the U.S. and abroad.
Unreliable Internet and phone service, limited resources and distance from global markets are some of the factors that have deterred Cuba-based entrepreneurs from going global. To that point, a phone interview with Del Rio required numerous attempts due to the spotty phone connection “Sometimes it’s better, sometimes it’s worse. In the rain, it’s even more terrible,” she said.

(Reuters) – Sony Corp is proceeding with a plan to sell its half of Sony/ATV Music Publishing, the world's largest music publisher, the Wall Street Journal reported. Sony, which owns the unit with Michael Jackson's estate, recently triggered a clause in its contract that allows one partner to buy out the other, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter. People in the music industry estimate Sony/ATV's value around $ 2 billion, the Journal said, adding that Sony hasn't put a price tag on its share yet.

MILWAUKEE—Going above and beyond the simple proposition of a 12-month lease, a local Craigslist apartment listing reportedly sweetened the pot Tuesday with an offer to sell the current tenant’s nearly decade-old furniture, sources confirmed. “Got a couch, bookshelf, and a dining table that I’d be willing to sell—all slightly used but in decent condition,” read the highly tempting post, adding even further enticement to the already wildly attractive proposal by offering a modest discount to anyone willing to buy all three of the items, which were themselves purchased secondhand from the previous occupants in 2006. “Let me know if you’re interested. I’d be happy to just leave them here for you when I go.” The tantalizing listing reportedly went on to add an irresistible cherry on top by offering to leave behind an uneven, heavily scratched end table propped up by a thick wad …

What does a white girl gotta do to get arrested around here??
Comedian Jessie Kahnweiler wanted to know if she would get preferential treatment from the police simply for being a white woman. The results are hilarious — and frightening.
Kahnweiler pretty brilliantly shows how a funny, bubbly white girl can get away with a lot more things around police than, say, a black or hispanic person might be able to.
In one particularly crazy moment, Kahnweiler tries to sell two officers her leftover depression medication. They tell her she’d be committing a crime, and then let her go on her merry way when she apologizes and claims ignorance. So if you commit a crime, just say sorry and feign ignorance? Cool, got it.
That’s the lesson here, non-white people. When police stop you for doing nothing at all, just apologize for being a law-abiding citizen.

Last time we heard from iLoveMakonnen, it was determined that the “Whip It” artist needed more people after he claimed his Twitter was hacked when it went on the rampage attacking Drake and Rihanna.
He still hasn’t gotten any said people but he’s offering up alibi’s regardless.
iLoveMakonnen recently checked in with Shay Diddy over at 106KMEL while keeping himself warm in his cotton silk poncho and huffed “hackers” into the microphone.
“It’s just the Internet…I don’t know,” he explained. “[Drake and Rihanna] been celebrities. They’ve been dealt with all that crazy sh*t that be happening when you come become a celebrity…but certain stuff people know if fake and certain stuff people know is real and behind the scenes everybody knows what’s real and it’s just fake stuff on the Internet. I would never do some stupid sh*t like that.” Why anyone would want to bring this evil on the guy who brings life to clubs on Tuesdays was never disclosed but we’re still waiting for some of those people to step forward.
Watch iLoveMakonnen’s interview down below. Key! was also pretty talkative, except during the entire Twitter hack bit.

If you were patiently waiting on your payday to get your hands on some Mayweather-Pacquiao tickets, sorry to tell you but you’re SOL.
The tickets that were reserved for the general public went on sale at 3 p.m. EST and by 3:01, they were gone.
It took less than a minute for fans to snatch up all the available tickets on public sale to see Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao face off on May 2 at the MGM Grand after they were released at 3 p.m. ET on Thursday.
The swiftness of the public sale spoke to the impatience over the delay in available tickets and also to the excitement surrounding the fight, which promises to break every financial record associated with the sport.
“I’m sure people were lined up to order those tickets online and in the queues,” said Pacquiao promoter Bob Arum. “They couldn’t wait for the tickets to finally go on sale.”
After the fight was announced in late February, it took more than two months for the camps to come together and sign a site contract with the MGM in Las Vegas, where the fight will take place, allowing the tickets to be released.
The eagerness to buy tickets also likely spoke to the lack of tickets that were available.
Roughly 500 tickets were released on Thursday, ranging in face value from $ 1,500 to $ 7,500 for a venue with a seating capacity of just 16,700, with the MGM and the fighters controlling the rest of the allotment.
Even if the fight doesn’t live up to the hype, there’s no doubt in our mind that Black Twitter will hold it down.
