FAST FRIENDS: “He’s my new best friend, I love our friendship,” gushed Thom Browne of Gildo Zegna, chief executive officer of the Ermenegildo Zegna Group. Although his own show is slated for Paris next week, the designer took the time to fly to Milan to show his support for Zegna, which took a majority stake in Thom Browne Inc. at the end last August. While Browne demurred from detailing any specific future plan for the brand, he said there will be “a lot more stores opening in the next couple of years.”
In a sign of Zegna’s pull in China, Hong Kong singer and actor William Chan Wai-ting attended the show, flanked by, among others, the brand’s longtime friend, actor Daniel Brühl; model Winnie Harlow, who snapped photos of the looks throughout the show, and American actor McCaul Lombardi, who fronted Zegna’s advertising campaign with Robert De Niro in 2017. Michele Norsa, vice chairman of Missoni, was also at the show, having joined the board of Zegna in 2017.

SHOWSTOPPER: Dita Von Teese will be joining the cast of designer Jean Paul Gaultier’s “Fashion Freak Show,” WWD has learned.
The burlesque star, who already makes a video appearance in the fashion designer’s show at the Folies Bergère cabaret in Paris, will be gracing the cabaret’s stage during a weeklong residency from Jan. 22 to 27 for seven performances.
“Dita Von Teese is the most Parisian of all Americans,” Gaultier told WWD. “I have every admiration for her as she has raised burlesque to the rank of a chic, glamorous and popular art. It is an honor to welcome her to the ‘Fashion Freak Show.’”
It’s not the first time Von Teese has teamed with the couturier. The artist, a friend of Gaultier’s, previously walked in some of the designer’s couture shows.
“It’s an absolute dream to be a part of Jean Paul Gaultier’s show at the Folies Bergère,” said Von Teese in a statement. “Mr. Gaultier has always celebrated diversity on his runways in a genuine and authentic way. His celebratory show captures the essence of who he is as a creator of distinctive and rare beauty.”
The all-singing, all-dancing, costume-filled show at the Folies Bergère opened last September and tells the story of
The stars came out for the 76th annual Golden Globes ceremony last night at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, and all eyes were on the red carpet to see who pulled off the best looks. And they didn’t disappoint: Celebs turned out with classic outfits, daring ensembles, and yes, even a few questionable sartorial choices. Below, we’ve rounded up a few of the best dressed men from the 2019 red carpet. Looking to amp up your style game this year? Take some cues from these guys.
Supporting his wife Emily Blunt for her best actress in a musical or comedy nomination, Krasinski stood out in a sea of black suits with his dark navy ensemble. His Christian Louboutin shoes and matching black bow tie (sometimes black and navy do go together) added elegance to his red carpet style. If you’re getting tired of trotting out your same old black suit, take a tip from Krasinski and opt for navy blue instead.
It seems like Bradley Cooper can do anything—write, direct, act, and even pull off an all-white suit. Looking like the complete opposite of the rough-around-the edges musician he played in A Star is Born, the clean-shaven nominee stood out on the red carpet. If you’re considering a similar outfit, take note: His black shoes and bow tie keep him from looking like a polar bear.
The Black Panther himself rocked a custom patterned silver tux designed by Versace. His stylist Ashley Weston described the look as “a work of art”—and we agree.
Idris Elba arrived on the Golden Globes carpet in a patterned turquoise suit with shoes to match. Although he walked the carpet with his jacket unbuttoned and no tie in sight, the rumored next James Bond tidied up his look once he stepped onstage to present an award.
Although he’ll always be the King in The North in our hearts, Richard Madden took home the Golden Globe for best actor in a TV drama for his performance in Bodyguard. He strode down the red carpet in a classy black velvet suit—a great example of how to use different materials, rather than colors, to stand out from the crowd.
Walking the red carpet with his Black Panther co-stars in tow, Michael B. Jordan showed how to use accessories to update a classic look for the modern era: He rocked a black double-breasted Burberry tuxedo, and his diamond-studded lapel pin and Piaget watch made the perfect complements to his jacket. The on-screen villain definitely looked like one of the good guys at last night’s award show.
Christian Bale’s various body transformations throughout the years may have been surprising, but fans were also shocked to hear his Welsh accent onstage at the Golden Globes (where he thanked Satan for inspiring his performance as Dick Cheney). On the red carpet, the Vice star proved that a little color coordination goes a long way—his sleek all-black suit and tie combo worked perfectly with his wife’s black dress.

FRENCH FLAG: Tommy Hilfiger is said to be eyeing Paris for his February “see-now-buy now” show. It is understood that the Chambre Syndicale, the organizer of the official fashion week, won’t make its decision until the end of this month if the designer can join its official calendar.
Hilfiger is reportedly looking to show his Tommy x Zendaya capsule collection in Paris as part of his see-now-buy-now extravaganzas. His globe-trotting shows, which have catapulted the brand’s social media engagement, have taken place in New York, Los Angeles, London and Milan.
Meanwhile, word has it that Hilfiger has already decided to return to his hometown in September and is considering the Apollo Theater in Harlem.
A spokeswoman for Hilfiger declined to comment on both the February and September events.
It was reported earlier this month that Ralph Lauren was entertaining the idea of showing in Paris in February, but a Ralph Lauren spokesman said Thursday the designer has decided against that idea. He plans to show in New York, although further details weren’t available.

SHANGHAI–A multimillion dollar one-hour runway show scheduled here by Dolce and Gabbana was abruptly canceled the day of, after insults about China were posted from the Instagram account of designer Stefano Gabbana, leading to the country’s biggest names in fashion and entertainment pulling out of attending the show en masse. South Africa’s fashion and art crowd descended upon Cape Town this week for the pre-opening party of contemporary art museum Zeitz MOCAA’s first fashion exhibition, “21 Years: Making Histories With South African Fashion Week.”
SA Fashion Week, founded by former model Lucilla Booyzen in 1997, marked the anniversary last October with a small exhibition shown during the presentation of the SAFW 2019 fall collections in the Johannesburg suburb of Sandton City. Booyzen chose 21 designers as a historical recap of the past 21 years of SA fashion, and planned a book to accompany the exhibit.
“When Erica de Greef, the senior fashion curator of Zeitz MOCAA, heard that I was going to do a book and an exhibition, she was incredibly excited, and she then planned to do an edited version of what I did in Johannesburg at Zeitz,” Booyzen recounted.
Curated by de Greef, the exhibition occupies two gallery spaces on the museum’s fourth level and features 21 ensembles from 21 designers, spanning different styles, multiple collections and various seasons, showcasing, in effect, a micro-history of South African fashion since 1997. On show are designers such as Clive Rundle, Amanda Laird Cherry and Loxion Kulca, alongside younger names such as Sindiso Khumalo, Thebe

Coach is taking its pre-fall show on the road — all the way to China for the first time.
The brand today will reveal that it will hold a runway show — titled “Coach Lights Up Shanghai” — and after party on The Bund, the city’s popular waterfront.
The event will be held on Dec. 8 and is intended to commemorate the brand’s 15th anniversary in China.
The collection will feature specially designed accessories, ready-to-wear and sneakers created by Coach creative director Stuart Vevers in collaboration with important Chinese cultural figures.
“We selected Shanghai as the venue for our first dual-gender runway show outside of New York City in recognition of the important relationship with have with Chinese consumers,” said Joshua Schulman, chief executive officer and president of Coach. “As we celebrate 15 years in the market, we look forward to building an even closer connection between Coach and our fans in China.”
Vevers said staging the pre-fall show in Shanghai “is a big moment for Coach and for me personally. Shanghai is one of the most vibrant, youthful and contemporary cities I have ever visited. It has a distinct energy that is inspiring and exciting — just like New York. I’m most looking forward to taking the spirit of the new Coach and the attitude and energy of New York to
Knowledge@Wharton, University of Pennsylvania's online business journal, calls San Diego Comic-Con the “Super Bowl of pop culture”. The convention is the required pilgrimage for artists, actors, filmmakers, producers or screenwriters. Each year 130,000 fans gather, and where they go Hollywood follows. News coverage weighs heavily to celebrities, even though they are outnumbered thousands to one. The real stars aren’t the big-screen actors and showrunners but the small, bit-players roaming the halls; the attendees, whether they dress up in costumes or simply participate in any of the hundreds of panel sessions. From its early comic-book beginnings in the 1970s until today, the Con is all about superheroes and whom fans aspire to be: Better versions of themselves. One attendee calls Comic-Con “nerd paradise”, where for a few days oddball dreamers, crazy lovers of fantastic stories and ardent superhero fans can be free; the social rules constraining them everyday no longer apply. Everyone here has a story to tell, and “Comic-Con Heroes” tells them. Writer Joe Wilcox culminates five years of Cons by choosing a dozen attendees from the 2013 convention to profile. None is a celebrity you know, but each is a hero in the making. You will meet an archaeologist of toys, 14-Century knight and student of artificial intelligence. You will walk The Dark Knight’s sentimental journey, ride 19th-Century bicycles and time travel with Dr. Who. And you will learn that the best stories aren’t the ones we read or watch but those we live each day that seek to unleash the hidden hero within. This book entered the public domain on July 8, 2015.
MTV’s Wild ‘N Out might be known as the Nick Cannon show but the improv comedy series has developed a few stars in their own right, namely DC Young Fly, Karlous Miller, and Chico Bean.
Though they’ve come up as individual comics they’ve recently came together to form the threesome known as The 85 South Show. An internet/traveling show, The 85 South Show has been building a core following thanks to the talents of the aforementioned comedians.
Today (Oct. 23), the three jokers checked into The Breakfast Club where they clowned around every chance they got while giving listeners some insight into how they go about their lives.
Touching on topics from sex to why Karlous Miller thinks he got fired from Wild N’ Out, the interview was all kinds of comedy.
Here are the 9 things we learned from DC Young Fly, Chico Bean and Karlous Miller on The Breakfast Club.
1. Whose Idea Was It?
DC and Chico say that forming the 85 South Show was actually Miller’s idea. Being that they hung out regardless he felt they should take their conversations on the road and make a show of it.

SOBERING UP: The Turbulent Thirties and its fashion — ranging from the influence of Hollywood films to the rise of suburbia — will be the focus of a new show called “Night and Day: 1930s Fashion & Photographs” at The Fashion and Textile Museum. The exhibition will open Friday and run until Jan. 20.
Split into different tableaux, the exhibition highlights the changing political and cultural landscape of the decade, and its impact on fashion. There will be a total of 100 looks on display, lent by Mark and Cleo Butterfield of C20 Vintage.
“Whilst carrying out the research and planning Night and Day, it became clear that escapism was a major theme that needed to be explored. While the decade is famous for its glamorous bias-cut evening gowns that showcased a woman’s curves and its magical musicals full of romance and glamour, these years were defined by a constant anxiety about the harsh economic reality and shifting social status,” said co-curator Teresa Collenette.

Bumpy Johnson’s rise to power will be detailed in a new television series. Forest Whitaker has signed on to executive produce the show.
As the brainchild of Narcos co-creators Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein, the project will chronicle the gangster’s infamous war with the Genovese crime family to reclaim his former drug territory of Harlem.
Paul Sorvino, most known for his iconic role in Goodfellas, is slotted to play Frank Costello, an unofficial arbitrator for the Italian mob. Deadlinereports that Whitaker will play Ellsworth “Bumpy” Johnson and the pair will seemingly share a lot of on air time together as Johnson saved Costello’s life in prison years prior. The story line will also capture how Bumpy befriended Malcolm X during his fight for social equality during the 1960’s.
According to IMBD this will serve as a prequel to the 2007 film American Gangster which focused on Frank Lucas, the right hand man to Johnson, as as he became Harlem’s biggest narcotics trafficker. Antoinette Crowe-Legacy, Gregory Cioffi and Vincent D’Onofrio have also been confirmed as part of the cast.
The straight-to-series crime drama will air on Epix and is scheduled for a 2019 debut.
PARTY FAITHFUL: The front row at Hedi Slimane’s show for Celine was filled with longtime friends of the designer, with Karl Lagerfeld, Catherine Deneuve, Lou Doillon, Joséphine de La Baume, Alexa Chung and Mark Ronson joining a legion of musicians at the event, held in a tent in front of the Hôtel des Invalides on Friday.
While the dark venue provided good cover for many celebrities in attendance, there was no missing Lady Gaga, who stood in the center of a throng of flashing cameras with Lagerfeld. The singer provided the first glimpse of Slimane’s new Celine designs when she was seen carrying the 16 handbag on Instagram on Aug. 30.
Gaga, wearing an Alaïa snakeskin trenchcoat, was on a break from promoting her new movie “A Star Is Born” following its U.K. premiere on Thursday. Ronson helped to write the track “Shallow,” in which she sings a duet with her costar Bradley Cooper.
Sitting opposite her was Alex Kapranos, lead singer of Franz Ferdinand, who has worn Slimane’s creations since the designer was at Dior Homme.

EARLY BIRD: Despite giving one of her first live performances since the birth of her daughter Kulture, Cardi B was among the guests filing into the 10 a.m. Mugler show in Paris on Wednesday.
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper posed for photographers in a tailored black jacket that was cut open in the back to reveal sheer cycling shorts with lacing details — as well as a glimpse of her black thong. She was up at 6 a.m. getting her makeup done for the show.
“It was really hard for me to get up this morning because, you know, the time difference — I’m still in an America time frame in my head — so I was like, ‘Oh, man!’ But you gotta do it. Gotta work!” she said with a bright smile.

NEAT KNITS: Don’t take your sweater for granted.
This felt like the underlying message relayed by Fast Retailing Co. Ltd. executives speaking before a crowded room of journalists gathered for a Uniqlo exhibit about knitwear in Paris. People squeezed into the entrance of the show, a wide room covered with dangling wheels of colored wool, the hues arranged like a giant, three-dimensional rainbow.
Held at the Jeu de Paume museum in Paris, the show runs from Wednesday through Saturday. It’s a sort of ephemeral pop-up experience from the Japanese label, which touts the exhibit as its first, as it joins the growing ranks of brands aiming to pull in new consumers by telling people how their stuff is made.
“The Art and Science of LifeWear” features a knitting machine in action, building a sweater dress before the public. It then takes visitors through a life of a sweater through photos, showing inspection stages and the factory hanger system, finishing with the final residue removal, done by hand. Another room is covered with rows of outfits, some outfitted with knit hats, scarves and gloves.
Closing the exhibit is a pop-up shop, complete with a cash register, featuring collaborations with Andrea Crews—airport themed, with sweaters stamped “Paris”

Last night, the 70th annual Emmy Awards were held in Los Angeles and had everything from a surprise marriage proposal to a not-so-surprising Outstanding Drama win for—you guessed it—Game of Thrones. While there were some moments during the night that kept us on our toes, there was never a doubt which guys had the best style on the gold carpet. Below, we’ve rounded up a few of the best-dressed guys that you should definitely be taking a few style cues from the next time you need to throw on a suit.
Your favorite TV dad expertly pulled off a white suit without looking like he’s trying too hard—an often impossible task. Follow Milo’s style by adding a black bowtie and exposed buttons to tone down all the white.

Colin Jost & Michael Che
Before taking the stage at the 70th annual Emmys, the hosts both pulled off non-traditional looks. Jost showed up in a dark plum suit and Che walked down the carpet in a go-to modern looks you’ll want to try yourself in an all-black ensemble sans tie.
While not everyone can afford Trevor Noah’s Louboutins, they can still follow a few style tips from the late night host. A classic all-black tuxedo can go a long way with a crisp white shirt under it and never goes out of style. Ever.
Emmy winner Peter Dinklage took home his third golden trophy for his role as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones, and looked great in his suit while doing it. Shying away from the bow tie trend of the night, Dinklage opted to don a skinny tie to complement his attire.
Pinstripes may be hard to pull off, but Donald Glover, nominated for his acting, directing, and writing, along with several other nods for Atlanta, makes it look easy in a custom Gucci suit. PARIS — In the latest sign that Dior is beefing up its men’s business, the French fashion house plans to stage its first men’s pre-fall runway show with a collection designed by Kim Jones scheduled to bow in Tokyo on Nov. 30, WWD has learned exclusively.
The choice of location reflects not just the brand’s long-term relationship with the country, but also the British designer’s fondness for Japan and the strategic importance of the Asian market.
The show will coincide with a Dior men’s pop-up at department store Isetan in Tokyo’s Shinjuku district, set to open on Nov. 28 for two weeks, that will carry the first collection designed by Jones. The capsule line for summer 2019 will simultaneously go on sale at the Dior flagship in Ginza ahead of its global launch on Dec. 1.
Jones told WWD in July the capsule would include denim pieces embroidered with Dior’s signature bee, as reimagined by U.S. artist Kaws, whose real name is Brian Donnelly, who also designed a monumental floral sculpture for the designer’s debut Dior show in Paris in July.
The spring collection featured new accessories, including a men’s version of the Saddle bag; belts with a stylized CD buckle created by Matthew

WE JUST MET: Chanel, the subject of a major exhibition at The Metropolitan Museum of Art in 2005, is returning to the landmark New York museum in December to parade its next Métiers d’Art collection. The show will be held Dec. 4.
Chanel has a long association with New York, a city that Coco Chanel first visited in 1931, according to the fashion house. U.S. department stores were among her strongest early supporters, having carried her first hat collections from 1912. “Karl Lagerfeld is also very attached to the American mega-city whose energy and light he has always loved to capture,” Chanel said.
The December show, further details of which have yet to be revealed, will mark the third time Chanel has shown in Manhattan after the presentation at the brand’s boutique on 57th Street in 2005 for the Métiers d’Art collection and its 2006 cruise show in Grand Central Terminal.
The luxurious Métiers d’Art collection, conceived by Lagerfeld as a way to exalt the specialty couture ateliers Chanel owns, typically travels to a destination — Edinburgh, Salzburg, Dallas, Rome — and recounts a chapter of the house lore, real or imagined.

JEAN GENIES: London’s Marques’ Almeida is heading to Paris Fashion Week, according to a statement released Monday, though the details are still being finalized.
Launched in 2011 by London-based Portuguese duo Marta Marques and Paulo Almeida, and propelled by the success of its signature Nineties-inspired frayed denim pieces, the growing label scooped the LVMH Young Fashion Designer Prize in 2015, offering a 300,000-euro cash boost, a year of coaching and global exposure.
As reported, new arrivals to the Paris schedule include Afterhomework, A.W.A.K.E., Ottolinger and designer Anton Belinskiy.
The week is set to kick off a day earlier than usual on Sept. 24, with Simon Porte Jacquemus — who last year started showing his collection on the eve of the official start of the week — being joined by heavy hitters Dior and Gucci, the latter defecting exceptionally from Milan for one season.
Among other expected highlights are Hedi Slimane’s first collection for women and men at Céline, scheduled for Sept. 28 at 8:30 p.m. — the late Friday time slot marking a pronounced change from his predecessor Phoebe Philo, who habitually showed in an early afternoon slot on Sunday.

Snap Inc. and Darkstore are partnering with Adidas to pre-release a new model of the Originals sneaker in “Fashion 5 Ways,” a new Snapchat show debuting this Saturday. The move is the first product launch for the ephemeral social network’s programmatic content.
Inspired by Nineties running shoes, the kicks — Adidas’ Originals Falcon W sneaker — will be featured in the first episode of Thumb Candy Media’s “Fashion 5 Ways,” a series from the creators of one of Snapchat’s most popular shows, “Nail the Look.” The show features women exploring creative ways to wear fashion staples, like sneakers, and the first episode will be available in the app’s Discover page.
In addition, “Fashion 5 Ways’” audience will also be able to buy the shoe right from the show by just swiping up. This is the first time a Snap show has ever offered product purchases, though it’s not the first deal between Snap and a shoe company. The social network had a previous “shoe drop” with Nike in February, but that required a physical presence and Snapcode scanning.
This is the latest move in Snap’s bid to become an e-commerce hub, pushing social commerce via shopping from ads.

Couturetime is expanding its partnership with the RedBar Group for the 2018 event. The RedBar Group, a mix of watch collectors and enthusiasts, will be hosted by the timepiece trade show for the RedBar inaugural nationwide meeting giving RedBar enthusiasts the opportunity to meet and socialize with one another, as well as meet directly with the watch brands exhibiting at Couturetime.
“In 2017, we worked with RedBar in an introductory capacity, with the organizers and a handful of their members in attendance on the show floor. Their presence added a level of excitement and energy that we wanted to further develop, so this year’s show is going to play host to the group’s first annual national gathering, bringing together chapter presidents and members from across the country and select RedBar members will also have the opportunity to take classes held by the New York Horological Society,” said Gannon Brousseau, director of Couture and senior vice president of Emerald Expositions.
“RedBar Group hosts weekly gatherings across the country that bring together watch enthusiasts in their areas, and we’re confident that our retailers will be delighted to be connected to these highly motivated, self-described ‘watch geeks’ for events that will build awareness of, and drive traffic

J. Cole‘s KODalbum was released last Friday and the fanfare around the record has been pouring in since it was unveiled to the masses. On the closing track, “1985,” it was rumored by some to be a track taking shots at rising young rappers Smokepurpp and Lil Pump, and at a recent Smokepurpp show, fans chanted “F*ck J. Cole” in unison.
The moment went down this past Friday (April 20) at Atlanta’s Buckhead Theater. It wasn’t readily understood why the crowd broke into the chant, or if Smokepurpp helped lead it.
Although Cole never mentions anyone’s name in the song, some are assuming the lines were aimed at the two Florida rappers. There seems to be some history between Smokepurpp and Cole, and Lil Pump released the “F*ck J. Cole” diss track last year.
“I heard one of em’ diss me, I’m surprised I ain’t trippin’, listen good to my reply/Come here lil’ man, let me talk with ya/See if I can paint for you the larger picture,” J. Cole said in “1985” which some say was aimed at Lil Pump.
The other lines read, “I must say, by your songs I’m unimpressed/But I love to see a Black man get paid/And plus, you having fun and I respect that” which some argue are aimed directly at Smokepurpp. Lil Pump felt away about “1985” obviously and responded in a video tweeted by Worldstar Hip Hop.

SENTALER HEADS TO LONDON: Sentaler, a favorite outerwear brand of Meghan Markle, the fiancée of Prince Harry, will be heading to London during London Fashion Week to preview its fall 2018 collection by private appointment with the designer, Bojana Sentaler. The brand hasn’t been sold in any British stores yet.
Markle wore a Sentaler long wide-collar wrap coat with signature ribbed cuffs in camel while attending Christmas Day service in Sandringham alongside the Royal Family. It marked the first public outing with the entire family for the actress, who has worn Sentaler outerwear and accessories for years. Sentaler coats have also been worn by the Duchess of Cambridge and Canada’s First Lady, Sophie Gregoire-Trudeau.
The Toronto-based luxury outerwear firm began selling in the U.S. market last year at department stores such as Neiman Marcus and Saks Fifth Avenue.
The fall collection is inspired by fairy tales. The coat collection is handcrafted from alpaca fabrics, including Suri alpaca and animal-friendly alpaca furs sourced in the Peruvian Andes. The color range includes royal navy, violet, lilac and steel blue.
Appointments in London can be made through Anya Nordström at email@example.com and Dani Matte at firstname.lastname@example.org
MILAN — Francesco Scognamiglio is gearing up to celebrate the 20th anniversary of his namesake fashion house with a couture show to be held in Rome on Sunday night, the closing day of the city’s Altaroma haute couture fashion week.
The designer, who was born in Naples in 1975, launched his label in 1998 in Pompeii, but actually made his runway debut in 2000 with a show at Rome’s Palazzo Barberini.
“This couture show is a comeback, a sort of tribute to my origins,” said Scognamiglio, who also expressed his gratitude to Alta Roma president Silvia Venturini Fendi, who offered him the opportunity to host his anniversary runway show at the National Gallery of Modern and Contemporary Art in the Italian capital.
“Hosting my anniversary show in Rome, I also want to pay homage to my country,” he added, revealing that from July he will return to show his couture collections in Paris. The designer was admitted to the Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture in 2016, a key year for Scognamiglio as he also moved the brand’s headquarters, design studio and atelier into a space inside an ancient palazzo located a stone’s throw from Milan’s Duomo Cathedral.
“During the last 20 years I focused exclusively
GOSSIP, GIRL: Kate Hudson deflected rumors that she is engaged to boyfriend Danny Fujikawa at the Valentino haute couture show Wednesday evening, where she sat front row alongside guests including Shailene Woodley, Donatella Versace, Clotilde Courau and Lake Bell.
“If there’s ever anything to talk about, I’m an honest person, I’ll talk about it,” said Hudson. “I’ll be happy to talk about it, but all that’s just nonsense.” Gossip has been circulating online after the actress appeared to be sporting a gem on her ring finger when out and about last weekend.
Otherwise, Hudson is keeping busy with her ath-leisure brand Fabletics, and is working toward a new movie role for the fall, she said, declining to reveal further details.
Woodley, who wore a striking leopard-print dress for the occasion, is prepping for the hotly awaited second season of hit series “Big Little Lies.” Any spoilers? “I wish I knew, I haven’t really read enough scripts to be able to express,” she said. “But I do know that we have an exciting new character, played by an amazing actor,” she accentuated.
She also stars in “Adrift,” an upcoming survival movie by Icelandic director Baltasar Kormákur. “It’s about a woman who is lost at sea,

Tom Ford will take the final spot on the men’s portion of the New York Fashion Week calendar next month with a runway show on Feb. 6. The show will be held at 8 p.m. at the Park Avenue Armory, immediately following Joseph Abboud at 7 p.m.
Although Ford has shown his men’s wear in New York in the past, this will mark the first time the designer has shown his men’s collection alone during New York Fashion Week: Men’s. His most recent New York show was in September of 2017 when he kicked off New York Fashion Week with a women’s show at the Armory. His spring 2018 men’s line was shown in Milan.
Last month, the Council of Fashion Designers of America said that it had pushed back the dates of New York Fashion Week: Men’s slightly to Feb. 5 through Feb. 7, immediately preceding the women’s shows that start on Feb. 8 — and creating one big 10-day dual-gender event. At the time, Mark Beckham, vice president of marketing for CFDA, hinted that another “big-name designer” was about to jump onto the men’s calendar, but it took until Monday for Ford to be identified as
ACTORS ROOM: Escaping the rain, guests including Robert Pattinson, Josh Hartnett, Future, Big Sean, Jhené Aiko and Bella Hadid flowed into the Grand Palais on Saturday for the Dior Homme show.
Clearly not feeling the chill, Hadid sported a black suit and black bra, accessorized with a choker and sneakers.
“The rain, it’s bad, makes me sad,” drawled Future, taking in the show set, with rows of aquariums filled with smoke and lights. French actor Pierre Niney shrugged it off, saying he was used to bad weather having grown up in Paris.
“My fiancé [Natasha Andrews] is from Australia so I think we’ll have to go to catch some rays soon, as she’s pretty depressed,” said the actor who chatted about the experience of working with Charlotte Gainsbourg on his latest film, “Promise at Dawn.”
“She has so much charisma, but at the same time, she has this shyness on set. She’s so humble and focused on the work, she’s an actress I have always dreamed of working with,” said the actor adding that his next project, a film directed by Frédéric Tellier, will be less uplifting. “I play a young guy who gets badly burned in a fire and has to rebuild his life.

MINGLING AT THE MINT: Guests at Boucheron’s interactive Vendôrama anniversary exhibit began their journey at the back door of the 18th-century Hôtel de la Monnaie. Who would guess that it would open on to a graffitied tunnel?
The uninitiated might be forgiven for missing the references in the tags: 1858 — that would be the year the house founder Frédéric Boucheron opened his first store — and Quatre for the jewelry line launched in 2004.
Inside a temporary exhibit space sitting in the courtyard, visitors were served up a mix of screens, live actors, and jewelry displays, set amidst rich green foliage including ivy — a traditional inspiration for the house. Even the guidebook was interactive, with pages folding out to reveal details of the jewelry on display.
“There’s a rock ‘n roll feel to it that I like,” said Charlotte Rampling, noting the unexpected presentation style, as the lighting on a collection of Quatre rings suddenly switched off behind her, making them disappear for a spell.
On one wall, guests could snap metal beads onto a giant replica of the asymmetrical Question Mark necklace—and have their photo taken there — while a display of Serpent Bohème necklaces jutted out of a tall, red lacquered
LONDON — Victoria Beckham plans to mark her decade in business with a series of events, including a 10th anniversary fashion show during London Fashion Week in September.
The big year will start with a change to the way Beckham shows her collections. The company said fall will be showcased via “intimate presentations” at the James Burden Mansion on Manhattan’s Upper East Side, recalling the early appointments Beckham held in New York for the then-fledgling business.
The show will take place during London Fashion Week in September, which runs from the 14th to the 18th of the month. The company said it plans to mark the anniversary with other initiatives throughout the year, including special pieces and activations.
The 10-year anniversary comes just months after Victoria Beckham Ltd. brought in NEO Investment Partners, a private investment firm based in London, as a new shareholder.
The 30 million pound investment from NEO has been earmarked to enhance the brand’s digital and physical retail presence, drive growth in core categories and launch into new categories and collaborations. The company also plans to move to new west London premises in the spring.
The brand produces the main line Victoria Beckham, a sister line called Victoria Victoria Beckham, accessories, footwear
