T.I. & Young Thug “Off-Set,” Lil Wayne “Nothin But Trouble” & More | Daily Visuals 8.25.15

While T.I. and Young Thug’s Bankroll Mafia super group is a ways away from releasing an official project, the two ATLiens have cut a few records together and now present their latest collaboration off of the Furious 7 movie soundtrack, “Off-Set.”

Shuffling back and forth between the two rappers and scenes from the movie it was made for, the visuals feature the duo basically stunting while standing in front of a pair cars which we can only assume are capable of breaking sound barriers on the open road.

And Lil Wayne continues to introduce the hip-hop community to Caucasian singers we aren’t too familiar with. This time he has piano-man, Charlie Puth crooning on the chorus of his latest cut “Nothing But Trouble”, where Weezy does what he does best and kicks verses about a woman he loved down only to realize she used him up. Somebody get this man a copy of Bel Biv Devo’s “Poison” ASAP.

Check out the rest of today’s releases which include work from Gunplay, Tyga, and more.

Kid Is Having A Whole Lotta Trouble Getting This Kitten ‘Situation’ Under Control

This kid has a cat-tastrophe on his hands! Or so he thinks.

A video shared on YouTube features a boy named Ryder from Cedar Falls, Iowa, trying to herd five kittens and getting a tad bit overwhelmed in the cutest way possible. The best part? He calls the little felines “situations.”

Watch as Ryder attempts to gather the kittens to his blanket. But anytime he goes to retrieve a kitten, more follow him, leaving the blanket designated for his furry flock.

“Oh! Now we got some more situations!” the adorable little fella says

Ryder’s mom, Lisa Richter, told The Huffington Post that the original video is much longer and her son actually broke a sweat trying to get all the kittens in one place. It’s OK, Ryder. We really admire your perseverance!

Richter told HuffPost that Ryder won’t have his hands quite so full for long. The kittens, who belong to a friend, are currently under the family’s care and Richter says they’ve decided to adopt two of them. The other three, however, are still looking for homes.

If you’re interested in the art of kitten herding, and would like to provide a forever home for one of the felines, you can reach out to Richter here. Your local shelter also has lots of kittens and cats looking for homes and a loving owner to herd them.

Two sisters. One disaster. First things first: I'm the bad twin. While my sister, Marcia, has the perfect family in the perfect suburb, I've been making my living as an Internet advice columnist and designing Web sites in my downtown loft. I always thought I had the right answer—and hair color—for any occasion. That is, until Marcia ran up loads of debt and ran out on her husband and kids, and I was left helping to pick up the pieces. Her husband, James, is a lawyer who I hate on principle alone. But for a guy who's just lost his job, his marriage, and his expensive toys, he's keeping it together—and making me rethink my feelings toward him. It's not that he's traded in his conservative suits for sexy jeans. It's that he's not giving up what's important to him, and oh baby, I'm a sucker for a guy who hangs tough. That doesn't mean I'm ready to step into Marcia's designer shoes now that she's gone A.W.O.L. And it doesn't mean that I'm going to fall for James' easy charm…not again, anyhow. Besides, I've had a lifelong policy of not being mistaken for my twin and I'm not backing down on that one now—no matter how convenient it might be for a certain sexy (and persuasive) man…

Why Your Relationship May Be In Trouble (And How To Fix It)

The truth is that if your relationship is in trouble, it’s probably because you set it up that way. Read that sentence again: your relationship is in trouble because you set it up that way. And let me be real clear, I’m not saying that you set it up that way because you were in a bad mood once in a while. You didn’t set it up that way because of something really outrageous you did one time five months or five years ago. You set it up that way by actively, consistently, and efficiently designing, programming, and choreographing your entire lifestyle to generate and then support a bad relationship. You have chosen to live in a way in which no other result could occur.

It is not possible for you to have a seriously defective long-term relationship unless you have generated and adopted a lifestyle to sustain it. Every single person in every walk of life has a lifestyle that supports who and what he or she is. If you are a healthy, vibrant, efficient, and productive person who is in touch with your core of consciousness, then I know, without question, that you have a lifestyle that supports that manner of living. If you are emotionally pained and relationally troubled person who has lost touch with your core of consciousness, I know that you have a lifestyle that supports that too. You cannot have a bad relationship unless your lifestyle is characterized by stress, pressure, distraction, and a harried and chaotic existence. Moreover, if you are living in a dysfunctional relationship with another person, it’s because you have a dysfunctional relationship with yourself.

I’m not blaming you; I’m just telling you how it is. A bad relationship cannot exist if it is not fed and nurtured in some way. If you think I am wrong, just look out your window. If you see weeds in your yard or in the field next door, they didn’t just happen. Some way, somehow that weed had to get started. And what’s more, it had to be fed and nurtured in some way. It didn’t grow in concrete; somehow the environment had to support its very existence or it could not be.

I’m not saying you necessarily chose any environment or lifestyle consciously, and I’m not saying that you generated your dysfunctional relationship on purpose. But I’m telling you that the reality of your relationship along with your overall lifestyle and your relationship with yourself are 100 percent inextricably intertwined. If you have not designed and carried out your life to create or allow distance instead of intimacy, combativeness instead of cooperation, blame and rejection instead of accountability and acceptance, you cannot maintain the erosion and pain that you are now experiencing. Problems don’t flourish in isolation; They have to have help and nurturance.

As an example, simply compare the lifestyle of someone who is chronically and morbidly overweight with the lifestyle of someone who is fit, energetic, and of normal weight. I will promise you that both of these people have designed their worlds to sustain what they have become. The overweight person will use food differently. You will find that he or she lives to eat, while a person of normal weight eats to live. This is a painful truth, but it is the truth. When it comes to your relationship, you have chosen to live patterns of thought, feeling and behavior that have generated something that is not giving you what you want. You are living to suffer instead of loving to live. That has to change, and it has to change first before anything else will begin to fall into place.

I have no doubt that many of you at this very moment are saying, “Wait a second, Dr. Phil. All your talk about getting me straight is just great, but you have no idea what a jerk my partner can be. You have no idea what manner of hell my partner brings into my life. I’m fine about making my life better, but what about my partner? Why all this total focus on me? I’m just one-half of this deal!”

Trust me, I do know what you may well be living with, and I promise you, your partner will get his or her turn in the barrel. But in all likelihood, your partner isn’t sitting right beside you reading this. You’re the only one reading it. My only input, my only influence, is with you, so that is who I am focusing on, and if you are smart you will do the same. But I do know it takes two to tango, and if you are able to change yourself, if you are able to create a different lifestyle and environment in which your relationship takes place, if you are able to regain your own power and reclaim your right to dignity and respect, then your partner is going to be seriously affected.

You can’t control your partner. You can’t make changes for your partner. You can’t tell your partner what to do. But you can inspire your partner. You can give your partner a whole new set of behaviors and new set of stimuli to respond to. If you drop out of the destructive mind-set and vicious circle of mutually frustrating interactions that are causing your relationship to implode, if you drop out of the fight and start living a new way, it’s going to be real difficult for your partner to continue spewing and seeking venom. You can stop sabotaging yourself and your relationship, and you can start inspiring the kind of reactions you want from your partner. In the face of such constructive input, he or she can’t fight alone, argue alone, or continue to be offended. Your partner can pout for a while, perhaps withdraw and be suspicious for a while, but eventually, he or she is going to feel pretty stupid sitting over in the corner while you seem to be getting so very much happier and so much more optimistic and at peace with yourself.

Besides, what’s the alternative — to allow your current lifestyle to persist, a lifestyle that with each passing day broadens the gap between you and your hopes and dreams? This isn’t brain-surgery or quantum physics here — what you are doing, how you are living, is not working. Plain and simple, it is not working. If you do not push yourself to find out what it is in your lifestyle that isn’t working, what it is about your lifestyle that has created and supports this negative relationship, you will continue to suffer. You will continue to work on the wrong things that have nothing to do with the status of your relationship at the expense of that which most certainly determines its success or failure. You will try to believe that it’s OK to forget some of your dreams, telling yourself that at least you are “secure” and “comfortable.” You’ll find yourself relying more and more upon the language of losers, telling yourself that you know you “should” do something about your plight and that you’d like to change but that you just aren’t sure where to start. When you choose the behavior, you choose the consequences, so you must start choosing differently right here, right now.

If you are going to rescue your relationship, the first lifeline we have to throw you is to you, so that you can pull yourself out of your emotional swamp. By changing how you treat yourself, you alter the most important element of the entire equation. It means altering the environment in which your relationship exists and changing the priorities that dictate your time and energy. You must re-design the backdrop or context in which your relationship occurs. Until you begin to live with dignity, respect, and emotional integrity, you will not have that quality and level of interaction with anyone else. As I like to say, you cannot give away what you do not have. If you don’t have a pure and healthy love and regard for yourself, how can you possibly give that to anyone else? And if you can’t give it to anyone else, the how can you possibly expect to have it reciprocated?

Modified excerpt from Relationship Rescue: A Seven-Step Strategy for Reconnecting With Your Partner by Phillip C. McGraw, PhD (Hyperion).

The Trouble With Horse Racing

Have we, as a nation, lost our bearings? Have we lost all sense of proportion? The jubilation and near-hysterical levels of enthusiasm in response to American Pharoah winning horse racing’s Triple Crown were not only wretchedly excessive, they were nutty.

Yes, people will point out that, until American Pharoah did it last weekend, no horse had won the Kentucky Derby, Preakness and Belmont Stakes, all in the same year, not since 1978 when Affirmed did it. Wonderful.

Except that the moment the race was over, we began hearing nothing but economic news. We instantly began hearing how valuable this horse will be once he is put out to stud. Money. It was all about money. Potential earnings, return on equity, future profits.

Consider: When Miguel Cabrera won the “real” Triple Crown in 2012 (the one in baseball, the one that requires genuine athletic talent and isn’t joined at the hip to pari-mutuel wagering), it hadn’t been done for 45 years, not since 1967 when Carl Yastrzemski led the league in batting average, homers, and RBI.

Now that’s a real achievement, one done by a human being and not by a horse or trained dog. Nothing against animals, mind you. I’ve watched the Kentucky Derby and I’ve watched the Westminster Dog Show and have been amused, if not overly worked-up, by both. But those aren’t “sporting events.”

Moreover, after Cabrera won his Triple Crown, you didn’t hear the media get all dollars-and-sense about it. You didn’t hear broadcasters speculate about how much more money Cabrera could expect to earn now that he had accomplished this milestone.

If we want to celebrate something significant being done after a long dry spell, let’s at least hold out for an impressive “human” event, something that doesn’t involve animals. Let’s hold out for something memorable, like seeing the perennially disappointing Chicago Cubs win a World Series or the Detroit Lions appear in a Super Bowl.

Or wait for the next American citizen to be named World Chess Champion. That formidable feat hasn’t been accomplished since 1975, when Bobby Fischer won the crown. And chess, baseball and football — unlike horse racing — don’t owe their existence to gambling. Unlike horse racing, which would shrivel up and die without the gambling, these games would flourish even with no money being wagered.

And not to get all self-righteous or “socially conscious” here, but speaking of the Kentucky Derby, what do we see when we observe that lavish spectacle? What do we see when we behold this historic horse race held in a nest of the former Confederacy?

We see a vast ocean of white faces. We see money. We see rich white people — wealthy, mint julep-drinking, white men and women, tricked out in their finest antebellum duds, harkening us back to all that was weird and glorious about Plantation Life. And then, just when we think we’ve had enough, they go and sing, “My Old Kentucky Home.”

No one is suggesting we ban horse racing, or curtail it, or boycott it. After all, wagering on horses is as American as apple strudel. And if a network wants to milk a two-and-a-half minute horse race for three hours, that’s their prerogative. They’re the ones paying for the commercial time.

But before people mindlessly gush over a horse race, they should ask themselves why they care. Unless they have money riding on it, what does it matter? And given that Pharoah went off at 3-to-5 odds (meaning you had to risk $ 50 to win $ 30), his victory was something of an anti-climax. A 37-year drought or not, he was the prohibitive favorite.

Trouble

If Jesus were to do His same ministry on earth today, He would be in trouble with:

the FDA for turning water into wine without a license,

the EPA for killing fig trees,

the AMA for practicing medicine without a license,

the Dept. of Health for asking people to open graves, for raising

the dead and for feeding 5,000 people in the wilderness,

the NEA for teaching without a certificate,

OSHA for walking on water without a life-jacket and for flying without an airplane,

the SPCA for driving hogs into the sea, and

the National Board of Psychiatrists for giving advice on how to live a guilt-free life.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson In Talks To Star In ‘Big Trouble In Little China’ Remake

It seems Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is having an earth-shaking week. His disaster blockbuster “San Andreas” topped the U.S. box office over the weekend, and now news has emerged that the 43-year-old actor is in talks to star in and produce a remake of the ‘80s cult classic “Big Trouble in Little China” for 20th Century Fox.

According to The Wrap, Johnson is in negotiations to play Jack Burton, the tough-as-nails truck driver protagonist, in the remake. Burton was portrayed by Kurt Russell in the original film.

Ashley Miller and Zack Stentz, of “Thor” and “X-Men: First Class” fame, will pen the script for the remake, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Johnson will reportedly produce the film with Dany Garcia and Hiram Garcia, his producing partners at Seven Bucks Productions.

A representative for Johnson did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Johnson has been very busy of late. “San Andreas,” set in the aftermath of a massive quake in California, earned more than $ 113 million worldwide in its opening weekend. The actor also stars in the box office hit “Furious 7,” and his new TV show “Ballers” will debut on HBO on June 21.

Johnson’s other projects include starring in Warner Bros’ “Shazam,” and in Disney’s animated movie “Moana” as the voice of Hawaiian demi-god Maui.

Facebook Could Spell Big Trouble For Your Relationship. Here’s Why

Take it from a divorce attorney: Facebook may be doing irreparable harm to your relationship.

In a recent HuffPost Live interview, San Diego-based divorce attorney Zephyr Hill discussed the role Facebook and other social media platforms have played in many of his clients’ relationships.

“I can confirm it’s involved in a lot of cases,” Hill told host Nancy Redd. “People are talking about just being disconnected — instead of cuddling in bed and watching ‘Game of Thrones,’ someone is staring at their Facebook feed all night long and not talking to their spouse. It’s definitely a factor on that level.”

Hill added that once couples move forward with divorce, Facebook often proves to be a “hotbed of evidence,”
